  • Patent number: 11648967
Abstract: A locking system is provided for fall protection. The locking system includes a housing. The housing defines a guide path through which the housing is slideably attached to a guide member. The locking system also includes a braking lever having a braking surface and an attachment end. The braking lever is configured to rotate so as to allow a braking surface to engage the guide member. The locking system further include a locking lever that is rotatably coupled to the braking lever. The locking lever is rotatable such that it rotates from an unlocked position to a locked position. In the unlocked position an activation end of the locking lever is positioned in a first location that is proximate to the attachment end and in the locked position the activation end is positioned in a second position distant to the attachment end.

  • Patent number: 8737321
Abstract: Channel reservation in time division duplex for devices in systems involving, for example user devices and access points, may be accomplished using channel reservation request messages, such as request-to-send (RTS) messages and channel reservation grant messages, such as clear-to-send (CTS) messages. A method for channel reservation may include preparing a frame including at least one channel reservation request message and at least one channel reservation grant message. The preparing may include multiplexing the at least one channel reservation request message and the at least one channel reservation grant message at least by frequency-division multiplexing. The method may also include transmitting the frame from a first node to a second node, wherein the channel reservation request message and the channel reservation grant message relate to communications between the first node and the second node.

  • Patent number: 7704611
Abstract: A hard, wear-resistant aluminum nitride based coating of composition AlxSiyMezN is proposed; x, y and z denote atomic fractions, the sum of which is between 0.95 and 1.05, and wherein Me is a metal dopant of group III to VIII and Ib transition metals or a combination thereof. The metal provides, during the coating process, an intrinsic electrical conductivity higher than the coating without the metal doping. The silicon content is in between 0.01?y?0.4 and the content of the metal dopant or dopants Me is 0.001?z?0.8, preferably 0.01?z?0.05 and most preferably 0.015?z?0.045.
