Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments herein, methods, systems, and kits provides for detection and/or treatment of acute myocardial infarction (AMI). In some embodiments, the methods, systems, and kits can comprise a combination of one or more high-sensitivity cardiac troponin (hsCTn) and conventional cardiac troponin (cCTn) tests. In some embodiments, a determination of a presence or absence of AMI is made within a six-hour phase after the subject presents with acute coronary symptoms.
