Abstract: A vehicle wheel alignment system with a wheel alignment angle sensor adapted for removable attachment to a vehicle wheel assembly, incorporating a two-dimensional imaging array at an orientation relative to a sensor mounting axis. The two-dimensional imaging array is configured to form an image of light from one or more remote light sources. The horizontal and vertical position of the images on the two-dimensional imaging array are representative of at least two angular orientations of the wheel alignment angle sensor relative to the remote light source, which is preferably coupled to an adjacent vehicle wheel assembly.
