Abstract: The subject of the invention is a positioning device for positioning products while at the same time conveying products one after another on a conveyor in a conveying plane and along a conveying direction. This device comprising a plurality of orientation devices each comprising at least one pusher mounted with the ability to move on a guide, said guide being situated on the side of the conveyor and defining a closed circulation loop at least a portion of which lies along the conveying direction, the at least one pusher being able to act on a product by pushing it in order to cause it to pivot through a predetermined angle about an axis perpendicular to the conveying plane, said orientation devices being capable of moving independently of one another on said guide. The invention also relates to a corresponding method.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a retention device for a product which is compatible with a plurality of different shapes of products, within an industrial line for producing and processing products, comprising a frame with a receiving base which is intended to support the bottom of a product; a gripping means for a product comprising a set of pincers which is provided with two jaws which can be moved between a spaced-apart position and a closed-up position. Each jaw is mounted freely in terms of rotation about a pivot point and has a concave vertical shape in order to retain the product at least at one upper support location and at least at one lower support location. The invention also relates to a conveying installation for products within an industrial line for producing and processing products, comprising at least one retention device according to the invention.

The tool has a row of supports, each able to carry a grasping element for grasping a product, the supports mounted to move on a rail, each support connected to an adjacent support by an attachment. The attachment includes a rod that connects two adjacent supports and a member for locking the position of at least one of the two adjacent supports on the rod. The locking member can be deactivated to adjust the distance between two supports to the distance between two products. The mechanism for grouping together includes at least one cylinder, the cylinder including a body fixed on a support and a rod.

The collector (4) deposits and drops the products collected at a take-up station (10) located on the side of said supply conveyor (1) the collector (4) is capable of a loop movement that can divided into a transverse movement combined with a longitudinal movement upwards of the queue, i.e. a movement opposite to that of the product supply conveyor. The equipment for implementing the method includes a table (3) provided at and along the conveyor (1), a collector (4) carried by an appropriate structure for longitudinal and transverse movement above said conveyor (1) and said table (3). The table (3) includes two panels (31, 32) extending on either side of the supply conveyor (1) for depositing and dropping the products collected on either side of the conveyor (1) at the edge thereof.

The method includes a step of using shaping tools on the cardboard cut-out, the tools reciprocatingly moving on either side of the cut-out between a shaping position and a retracted position.
