  • Publication number: 20090094951
Abstract: An air cleaner assembly is described and shown which includes a housing having an air flow inlet, an air flow outlet and a housing body and access cover. A serviceable filter cartridge is positioned within the housing. A projection/receiver arrangement providing for engagement between the cartridge and the access cover is provided. The projection/receiver arrangement can be configured in a manner that inhibits both cantilevered motion and rotational motion of the cartridge, once installed. An example projection/receiver arrangement is provided, which includes a serpentine receiving groove on the access cover and a serpentine projection on the filter cartridge.

  • Publication number: 20090049814
Abstract: An air cleaner assembly and components therefor are provided. Features are described providing for a cantilevered support of a filter cartridge contained therein, and also, in some examples anti-rotational support. Also, a supported housing seal is shown. A filter cartridge arrangement is described and shown. Methods of assembly and use are also described.

  • Patent number: 7143463
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for the detachable, articulated connection of a wiper blade (14) for cleaning windows, in particular of motor vehicles, to a wiper arm (12) driven on one end, which is provided with a first coupling half (26) on its other, particularly, its free end (13) and a connecting device (24) featuring a second wiper-blade-mounted coupling half (28), which is arranged on the upper band side (23) of a band-like, long-stretched-out, elastic supporting element (22), on whose other, lower band surface, (21) a rubber-elastic wiper strip (20) that can be placed on the window (19) is situated, and the wiper-blade-mounted coupling half (28) has a pivot pin (46) aligned transverse to the wiper blade's longitudinal extension and transverse to the placement direction (arrow 18) to connect to the wiper arm (12), whose longitudinal axis forms the articulation axis (17) of the device and which is allocated to a pin rest receptacle (62) present on the wiper-arm-mounted coupling half (26).

  • Patent number: 6966096
Abstract: The invention relates to a device to connect a wiper arm (12) to a wiper blade (14) featuring a supporting element (16) holding a wiper strip (20) on which a base element (30, 60) is fastened as the first part of a coupling device, whereby the wiper arm (12) is embodied to be U-shaped and overlaps the base element (30, 60) with its U-shape and whereby holding means (42, 72) are embodied on the wiper arm (12) within its U-shape, which holding means form a second part of a coupling device and cooperate with the first part of the coupling device. It is proposed that the holding means (42, 72) be embodied as articulated means for holding the wiper blade (14) in an articulated manner, which can also transmit a bearing force (44) on the wiper blade (14) to be exerted by the wiper arm (12) on the wiper blade (14) in an operating position and which are at least approximately completely covered by the wiper arm (12).

  • Publication number: 20040211021
Abstract: A device is proposed which is used to detachably connect a wiper blade (12) to clean windows, particularly of motor vehicles, to a driven wiper arm (10) featuring a wiper blade holder (50 or 150), whereby the wiper blade (12) that can be placed on the window (20) with a long-stretched-out, rubber elastic wiper strip (18) features a band-like, long-stretched-out elastic supporting element (16) that is curved in the longitudinal direction over its band surfaces (15, 17) on whose lower, concave band surface (17) the wiper strip (18) is arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis. On the outer convex band surface (15) of the supporting element (16) sits a connecting element (26), which features two parallel wall surfaces (36) that are aligned in a vertical plane on the band surface and extend in the longitudinal direction of the wiper blade and that a pivot pin (42) projects from each wall surface, whereby the longitudinal axes of the two pivot pins are aligned with one another.

  • Publication number: 20040025281
Abstract: The invention relates to a device to connect a wiper arm (10) to a wiper blade (12) featuring a supporting element (16) on which a connecting element (14) for the wiper arm (10) is attached, which features at least two holding means (30, 32) for the counter holding means (34, 36) connected to the wiper arm (10). It is proposed that a base part (38) be attached between the connecting element (14) and the supporting element (16), which is firmly connected to the supporting element (16) and connected with the connecting element (14) so that it can rotate.
