Abstract: An indirect electrostatic printer is characterized in that the intermediate medium in the form of a dielectric tape (1) is mounted in an open loop defined by a supply reel (2), an auxiliary roller (4) over which its path doubles back and a take up reel (3), and in that said auxiliary roller (4) and an associated pressure roller (14) define a combined station (7) for simultaneously transferring and fixing the image on the final medium which is in the form of individual sheets (8), and said auxiliary roller and said pressure roller constituting, together with said tape (1), means for conveying the sheets to a copy delivery station (15).

Abstract: The invention relates to a bar for printing an image. It comprises a stack of conductive plates which are insulated from one another in which one end of each forms a printing stylus and n diagonal matrices for addressing the styli whose columns are constituted by plates and are fed via resistors formed on the plates and whose rows common to the n matrices are constituted by electric conductors connected to the columns via diodes which are also formed on the plates.

Abstract: The invention relates to a reduced redundancy facsimile transmission installation which includes at the transmission end means which form run length words from the binary data analysis of a document.In accordance with the invention, at the transmission end, an array of combinatorial logic circuits (26), preferably of the PLA type, is programmed to transcode run length words into other words, using a truncated Huffman code and, at the receiving end, arrays which are also preferably of the PLA type provide inverse transcoding.Application: facsimile transmission.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a facsimile transmission installation adapted to allow rapid transmission of the contents of forms. In accordance with the invention, various types of blank forms are memorized and the transmission equipment includes a comparator connected to a memory and to an analysis circuit and allows the transmission of a facsimile signal which represents only the data added on the analyzed filled-in form and the reception equipment includes a text regenerator which operates from a transmitted facsimile signal and from a signal which comes from its memory.

Abstract: Installation for the remote transmission of facsimiles, comprising a telecopy transmitter device connected by a telephone line to a telecopy receiver device and comprising two buffer memories adapting the transmission speed of the line to that of the transmitter and to that of the receiver respectively. The buffer memories are each constituted by a multi-track magnetic tape driven by a motor controlled by a time base having high stability; the buffer memory on the receiver side comprises, moreover, an electronic assembly, between the magnetic tape and the telecopy receiver device, intended for compensating short-term changes in speed of the tapes.

Abstract: Copying and telecopying device using a mechanism ensuring the analysis of a document by a scanning beam which, transmitted from the document, is sent to a drum coated with selenium. According to the invention, the equipment is completed by a laser source whose beam can be directed along two parallel incident paths, to a helical mirror, one of the beams being used for the analysis of the document and the transmission of the information at a distance, the other beam being modulated by a facsimile signal and being directed onto the drum coated with selenium.

Abstract: The invention comes within the field of facsimile devices and concerns the winding and unwinding of a document on a rotating drum. According to the invention, the fixing of only one edge of the document on the drum is provided for and the unloading of the document is made easier by a drawer which applies resilient pressure tangentially against the cylindrical surface of the drum. The document is removed in a reverse direction in relation to the operation of the facsimile device.
