  • Patent number: 9269987
Abstract: Salts with formula X?M+ wherein M+ is Li, Na, K, an ammonium, a phosphonium, an imidazolium, a pyridinium, or a pyrazolium and X? is an anion formed from covalent linking of two negative moieties to a positive onium-type core are provided. Also provided are electrolytes and batteries produced from these salts.

  • Publication number: 20150180039
Abstract: The claimed invention relates to a current collector product for one or more galvanic battery cells. Currently, the metal considered as current collector for the negative electrode is copper. Some of the disadvantages of copper are that it is a rare, heavy and expensive element. To alleviate at least some of the problems of the prior art battery cells, at least part of the current collector electrode supporting portion is composed of pure iron or an iron alloy with less than 10 percent by weight of impurities or alloying constituents. The claimed invention also relates to a galvanic, lithium or sodium, battery cell and to a method for producing a current collector product.
