  • Patent number: 10601289
Abstract: The method according to the invention involves a hot-forging step and a cold-forging step that occurs after the hot-forging step. A polar wheel (10, 11) incorporating a plurality of finite chamfers (102) formed on exterior parts of the polar teeth (10g, 11g) is produced during the hot-forging step. According to the invention, the cold-forging step involves substeps of placing the polar wheel in a die, cold die-stamping the polar wheel with a first and a second blow in the axial direction of the polar wheel, upsetting material onto interior parts of the polar teeth (10g, 11g) so as to form magnet-housing grooves (100) and magnet lips (101).
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: March 24, 2020
    Assignee: Valeo Equipements Electriques Moteur
Inventors: Henri Delianne, Michel Bocquel, Herve Ribot
  • Patent number: 10277087
Abstract: An insulating device (10) of a rotor winding, which includes a device for positioning the insulator relative to a pole wheel including teeth and spaces between the teeth, which comprises at least two feet (102) on a surface (101) of the insulator that engages with a surface of the pole wheel, the feet each having at least two separate contacts among the following contacts: contact on a side surface of one tooth; contact on a side surface of an adjacent tooth; contact on an interstitial surface between one tooth and the adjacent tooth.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 20, 2015
Date of Patent: April 30, 2019
    Assignee: Valeo Equipments Electriques Moteur
Inventors: Patrice Balthaze, Pierre-Yves Bilteryst, Henri Delianne, David Margueritte, Michel Bocquel
  • Patent number: 10250088
Abstract: The pole wheel according to the invention is intended for the rotor of a Lundell rotating electric machine. The pole wheel is obtained entirely by forging and comprises a central core provided with a central bore in a central axis of the pole wheel intended to receive a shaft of the rotor, a plurality of pole teeth (10g, 11g) distributed in a regular manner at the circumference of the pole wheel and extending substantially parallel to the central axis of the pole wheel, and an annular part forming a plate and extending between the central core and parts forming bases of the pole teeth. According to the invention, the pole wheel comprises a plurality of reservoirs (105) provided in the parts forming bases of the pole teeth.
