Patent number: 7594822Abstract: To simplify connection between electrical apparatuses, a connecting bar has been developed wherein the connection interfaces are flat. The connection devices comprise a conducting insert in a compressible insulating elastomer molded from casting, which is coated with a shielding. The connecting surfaces of the conducting inserts are located withdrawn with respect to the connection surfaces of the insulating support. When connection is performed, the insulating surfaces come into contact, compression is then performed enabling the interface to be made air-tight, while at the same time bringing the conducting surfaces into contact. The assembly is kept compressed by means of a central screw which is preferably associated with a blanking device of cover type for the connection surface not used for electrical connection.Type: GrantFiled: November 5, 2008Date of Patent: September 29, 2009Assignee: Schneider Electric Industries SASInventor: Jean-Michel Bonfils

Patent number: 6991072Abstract: A brake device for the rotor of a helicopter, the device associating a mechanism having a disk and a manual control for main braking of the rotor, and a mechanism for secondary braking of the rotor under strong wind. The secondary braking device includes a secondary lever hinged to the body and capable of being actuated against secondary return elements to drive a bearing finger against a main lever of the main brake mechanism and cause the jaws of the mechanism to move correspondingly towards each other so that the secondary lever actuates the main lever in order to amplify the clamping forces applied to the disk by the jaws in comparison with the forces they exert when driven by the main lever alone.Type: GrantFiled: December 14, 2004Date of Patent: January 31, 2006Assignee: EurocopterInventor: Michel Bonfils

Patent number: 4629213Abstract: The invention relates to a suspension system for a set of vehicle wheels with rigid axle, said suspension system comprising, on the one hand, a longitudinal torsion tube articulated at one of its ends on the chassis of the vehicle so as to be able to pivot about a transverse horizontal axis without possibility of rotating about its longitudinal axis and fast at its other end with said rigid axle and, on the other hand, two longitudinal elastic blades which are disposed laterally each on one side of said torsion tube and of which each is fixed at one of its ends to said axle, is pivoted in its intermediate part on said chassis about a transverse axis and is in abutment at its other end against said chassis. The invention is more particularly applicable to a suspension for road tractor.Type: GrantFiled: March 28, 1985Date of Patent: December 16, 1986Assignee: Societe Nationale Industrielle AerospatialeInventors: Jacques Aubry, Michel Bonfils, Jean-Paul Merlet
