Abstract: A cartridge for consumable product for a printer includes an electronic chip for storing technical data characteristic of the consumable product and for controlling printing. The chip is arranged to be read by the printer, and the chip is disposed on a removable support card. The chip stores one or more parameters for controlling printer operation and is arranged for the downloading of technical data from a server.

Abstract: The system for a printer in its reservoir for consumables for office equipment includes essential command unit for a printer, an electric chip having a balance of consumables and memory and a device to control the reservoir of consumables. The device includes a chip/central unit interfaced in a computer intended to determine the content of the reservoir of consumables, by calculating the flow, in cooperation with the central unit, by estimating the quantity of consumables used according to the estimated quantity of printed copies, and the balance of consumables left. This system has applications to photocopiers as well.

Abstract: An ink-film refill for heat-transfer printers comprises a film dispenser-roll, the free end of the film being affixed to a receiving mandril. The roll and the mandril rest against each other and have their axes substantially mutually parallel, adhesive means keeping them in position, the adhesive means comprising at least one non-adhesive end forming a gripping zone to break the bond between them and to render roll and mandril mutually free.

Abstract: Writing device with heating elements for printing by thermal action on a ting support, mounted on a base and comprising a heating elements support bearing the heating elements and first electrical contacts connected directly to said heating elements, an intermediate support to support mechanically and removably the support, a connecting part provided with second electrical contacts adapted to cooperate with the first contacts of the support and attached respectively to the base. A fixing device fasten the support and the part to the base so as to permit, between the heating elements support and the base, the relative movements necessary for the progress of the writing process. A device for positioning of the heating elements support on the intermediate support, and locking device to make fast mechanically and removably the heating elements support to the intermediate support are also included.
