  • Patent number: 4840783
Abstract: The invention relates to a process for the production of hydrogen by catalytic reforming of methanol with water vapor. A mixture of methanol, water and carbon dioxide is passed in contact with a catalyst, containing copper, in a fixed bed, in a catalytic zone, at a temperature comprised between 150.degree. and 400.degree. C., the molar ratio of the carbon dioxide to the methanol, at the entrance of the catalytic zone, being comprised between 0.001 and 0.2.

  • Patent number: 4828651
Abstract: Process for the removal of coke from a coking reactor of a series of coking reactors, comprising the projection of water under pressure at the coke via a water-ejection device hanging from a flexible tube guided by a guide pulley movably mounted above the reactors for translation between each reactor of the series of reactors.

  • Patent number: 4285804
Abstract: A mixture of heavy hydrocarbons, hydrogen and fresh catalyst comprising metals from the groups Vb, VIb, VIIb or VIII is passed first in a furnace for a limited heating time and then in a reactor where recycled catalyst is also added; the recycled catalyst is used in the form of a suspension recovered by fractionation of the reaction product.
