  • Patent number: 4573286
Abstract: A device for suspending and guiding an oblique-displacement sliding door, especially for railroad cars, comprises a rolling element which is attached to the door by means of a connecting member (4) and comprises two rollers (Gs, Gi) mounted within a tubular guide track (6). The rolling surfaces (6a, 6b, 6c, 6d) of the guide track (6) are located in oppositely-facing relation on each side of the connecting member (4) and at an oblique angle with respect to this latter. The profiles of the two rolling surfaces and of the two rollers are adapted to each other so as to prevent translational displacement of the rolling element (2) in a plane transverse to the guide track (6).

  • Patent number: 4188889
Abstract: A movable step displaceable by means of an operating mechanism between a withdrawn position and a service position has an extension in the form of two transverse arms associated with two pairs of link-arms which are pivotally mounted on four shafts having horizontal and parallel axes. Two shafts are stationarily fixed on the floor of the railway car, the second shaft being set back from the first with respect to the car wall. The other two shafts are movable and attached respectively to the transverse arms near the point of connection of these arms to the step, and to the transverse arms at the ends which are pivotally attached to the rear link-arms. Stable immobilization of the step is achieved in the service position as a result of abutting application of the articulations of the transverse arms and of the rear link-arms against a stop.

  • Patent number: 4091570
Abstract: The door comprises at least one sliding leaf which is capable of engagement and disengagement transversely within a stationary door-frame, a leaf-stabilizing system consisting of at least one slide-bar mounted opposite to the top leaf-edge alone, operating means for displacing the leaf in the direction of sliding motion, a deformable coupling system provided with means for suspending the leaf from the associated slide-bar so that the leaf can be displaced in translational motion by the operating means and transversely under the action of at least one guide rail which is rigidly fixed to the door-frame.
