Abstract: Method of configuring equipment in a home automation installation, each item of equipment being identified thanks to an identifier recorded in memory and duplicated on an accessible medium so as to be visible, the configuring method using a configuring tool comprising an inputting means, a signal transmission means and at least a first memory and a second memory, the method comprising several iterations of the following steps: the step of generating, in the configuring tool, a message comprising the content of the first memory intended for receiving, after an input, the identifier of an item of equipment and the content of the second memory intended for receiving, after an input, information of a first type; the step of transmitting, by the radio signal transmission means, the message in the form of an electromagnetic signal; and the step of carrying out, in the item of equipment, an action at least partially determined by the information of the first type.

Abstract: A telecommunications frame used for remote control in home automation systems provides for protocol extension while retaining the organization and the content of the data of an old frame used in earlier generation remote control transmitters/receivers while adding additional information able to be exploited by later-generation receivers. The frame comprises a first part comprising first data and a first control field and a second part comprising second data and a second control field. A relay bit commences the second part of data, the relay bit having a predetermined value. Such a frame can be used to ensure cross-compatibility in a system comprising older generation and newer generation command transmitters and older generation and newer generation command receivers.

Abstract: A synchronized control method for actuators driving a moving device includes the sending of a signal repeating a frame including the code of the control to be executed, inserting into the frame sent a time information item representative of the control generation duration, extracting the time information item and computing at least one of the application start and the application end instant of control, and the reception of the signal for application of the control to the actuator as long as the generation of the control signal lasts.

The method for matching a transmitter and a receiver includes assigning a subset or a rank to each receiver; then the receivers supply a signal, depending on their subset or their rank, for example, in response to a rank modifying command. When only the receiver to be matched supplies a signal, the installer emits a command from the transmitter. The receiver, which has just supplied the signal, receives the command and is matched to the transmitter, which has transmitted it. the matching is carried out without any action on the receivers, simply by means of commands transmitted from the transmitter.
