  • Patent number: 8145744
Abstract: The invention concerns a device for remote reading of states, comprising a communication network (1), a plurality of peripherals (31 to 33) each of which adopts an instantaneous state (STAT—1 to STAT—3), and a controller (2) periodically scanning said peripherals (31 to 33) to read therefrom the instantaneous state (STAT—1 to STAT—3). The invention is characterized in that the communication network (1) electromagnetically connects the peripherals (31 to 33) to the controller (2), and said peripherals (31 to 33) are supplied with electrical energy via said communication network (1). The invention is useful for managing calls in lifts by means of peripherals not provided with any galvanic connection and with any individual power source.

  • Patent number: 7486169
Abstract: The invention concerns a controlling and/or monitoring device, comprising a plurality of peripherals (Pa, Pb, Pc, Pn), a central control unit (4) and a communication network (5) connecting the central unit (4) to the various peripherals (Pa, Pb, Pc, Pn). The central control unit (4) comprises one or two transmission controllers (41, 42) connected to the various peripherals through a transmission channel (50), each transmission controller (41, 42) comparing context codes (Ka, Kb, Kc, Kn) received from the peripherals with stored reference codes (Ra, Rb, Rc, Rn) to set a security circuit (6) in a security configuration or in a fault configuration, depending on whether or not the compared codes show identical one-to-one correspondence.

  • Patent number: 7298263
Abstract: The invention concerns a control and/or monitoring device comprising pairs (P, P?) of interactive members (1, 2; 1?, 2?) each of which includes an electronic label (1, 1?) identified by a specific identification code (KID1, KID1?) communicating with said label (1, 1?). For each pair (P) of interactive members, the inventive device also comprises a state encoder at least partially borne by the label (1), said encoder producing a state signal which is accessible to the reader (2) and representing a logic or analog state affecting the label (1) or a relationship between the label (1) and the reader (2).

  • Patent number: 5969305
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for installing and maintaining elevator system controls includes a storage card (1) having a storage element (2) in which elevator control data is stored. An elevator installation becomes operational upon inserting the storage card (1) into a control point (10) of an elevator control system (11). The storage card (1) can fulfill further functions, such as.sub.1 for example, the monitoring of maintenance utilizing a trip recorder for indicating that maintenance is due after a predetermined number of trips of the associated elevator car.
