  • Patent number: 5172360
Abstract: A loading device comprises a frame (103), a drawer (100) which is movable between a first and the second position, guide means for guiding the drawer, and an electric motor (115) for driving the drawer. The guide means comprise a supporting body (117) which is movable in the frame and which comprises supporting elements (123), guide elements (139) secured to the frame, and at least one stop element (137) secured to the frame. The supporting elements serve for supporting the drawer and the supporting body in such a way that they are movable relative to one another during the movement of the drawer between the first and the second position, and the guide elements serve for moving the drawer relative to the frame in a direction parallel to a supporting surface (101) of the drawer. The stop element serves for guiding the drawer in a direction transverse to said supporting surface.

  • Patent number: 5166917
Abstract: The player comprises a frame, a turntable for the information carriers, which turntable is rotatable about an axis of rotation during operation, and a centering device for centering said information carriers relative to a centering axis. The centering device comprises a pair of first pivotal arms, which are each movable about a first pivotal axis parallel to the centering axis, and a first centering element constructed for cooperation with the circumferential edge of the information carriers. The centering device further comprises a pair of second pivotal arms which each comprise a second centering element constructed for cooperation with the circumferential edges of information carriers, the first centering elements and the second centering elements together being disposed at least substantially on a circle concentric with the centering axis in at least one position of the first pivotal arms and the second pivotal arms relative to each other.

  • Patent number: 4833666
Abstract: Disc player includes a housing with a frame (11) carrying a scanning device and a disc-drive means for driving discs of different types. Loading mechanism includes a drawer (51) which is movable along guide means between an extended position and a retracted position to move a disc towards and away from the disc-drive means where a movable disc-pressure member (99) presses the disc against the disc-drive means. The disc-drive means comprises a first turntable which is fixedly supported relative to the frame and a second turntable (19) which is movable relative to the frame and can be positioned on the first turntable. A movable holder (21) can be actuated by the loading mechanism to position the second turntable on and remove it from the first turntable.

  • Patent number: 4363120
Abstract: A belt drive record player having a turntable mounted on a main frame and a motor mounted on a resiliently supported sub-frame. A switching member having two fork limbs, for transferring the belt between different speed pulleys, is mounted on the sub-frame and is movable between two positions defined by stops on the sub-frame. A control member mounted on the main frame is disengaged from the switching member except when the speed is being changed.

  • Patent number: 4348756
Abstract: A record player having a turntable mounted for rotation on a frame; a pick-up arm spindle journalled to the frame, and having a pick-up arm and arm lever; and a control member for controlling movement of the pick-up arm in a first direction from the turntable and a second direction toward the turntable. A rod connected to the control member cooperates with a control element having a coupling portion for engaging the pick-up arm lever. Guides on the frame cause the coupling portion of the control element to move along first and second paths respectively during the first and second directions of pick-up arm movement, the paths being concentric with the axis of the pick-up arm spindle, and the coupling portion of the control element engaging the pick-up arm lever along the second path only.
