  • Publication number: 20240272260
Abstract: A system for calibrating voltage measurements in a system for measuring electrical quantities includes a calibration device configured to determine a first reference time instant of a zero-crossing event of a voltage signal that it measures, and transmit a calibration message including the first reference time instant and a measured voltage amplitude value to at least one device for measuring electrical quantities. The at least one device for measuring electrical quantities is configured to receive the calibration message, extract the first reference time instant and the voltage amplitude, determine a second reference time instant, of zero crossing of the voltage signal measured locally, corresponding to the first reference instant, calculate a phase shift of the locally-measured voltage signal, as a function of the difference between the first and the second reference time instants and apply a phase and amplitude voltage calibration as a function of the voltage amplitude and of the phase shift.

  • Patent number: 11557450
Abstract: A method for diagnosing the cause of tripping of an electrical protection device includes, after detection by the auxiliary device of a loss of electrical power, determining a type of electrical fault on the basis of recorded values, the determining operation including: comparing, with a first threshold value, the largest value of the maximum intensity of the current from the recorded values for a plurality of measurement intervals preceding the loss of power, a short circuit being diagnosed if the largest value of the maximum intensity is greater than a first threshold value; comparing, with a second threshold value, the largest RMS value of the current from the recorded values, an overload being diagnosed if the largest RMS value is greater than a second threshold value.

  • Patent number: 10448395
Abstract: A method of radio communication in a system including a plurality of communicating modules, each communicating module being able to obtain at least one measured physical value and to transmit a message encapsulating at least one measured physical value to a hub device according to a given radio communication protocol, the sending of the message being performed during a communication time interval, defined by a start instant and an end instant, a waiting time separating two successive communication time intervals of one and the same communicating module. For each communicating module of the plurality of communicating modules, the waiting time is calculated as a function of an updated counter of the communicating module as a function of a receipt of an acknowledgement message originating from the hub device.

  • Patent number: 3988657
Abstract: A device for precisely positioning a movable member along a rectilinear path, wherein a plane conductive winding is attached to and moves with said member, wherein sensors are spaced apart along said path opposite to said winding, and wherein a control circuit responds to the signals generated by said sensors for servoing the motor that drives said movable member.

  • Patent number: 3953816
Abstract: A position detecting system includes a sending unit in the form of a continuous conductor describing a Greek key pattern surrounded by a return-path conductor arrangement. The return-path conductor is so arranged as to provide additional legs of the pattern with the widths and spacings of such additional legs with respect to adjacent legs of the pattern being such as to assure a magnetic effect producing well defined and evenly spaced node and antinode signals in an associated pick-up head.
