  • Patent number: 11509062
Abstract: The invention relates to a wire antenna adapted to operate in at least one predetermined frequency band, comprising a plurality of superimposed layers, comprising at least one radiating element placed on a support layer, wherein the support layer is placed on a spacer substrate, and wherein the spacer substrate is placed on a reflector plane comprising at least one resistive layer between the support layer of the radiating element(s) and the substrate spacer, while the resistive layer comprises at least two sets of nested resistive patterns. This antenna is such that the sets of resistive patterns have resistance values gradually varying between a central antenna point and an outer edge of the antenna, in order to achieve a resistance gradient.

  • Patent number: 9755317
Abstract: In the field of circular-polarized planar wire antennas for very wide band telecommunications systems, and an antenna reflector for such an antenna, an antenna device comprises an antenna reflector and an antenna, and a method for implementing the antenna reflector. The antenna reflector comprises, on the one hand, a first reflection region exhibiting electromagnetic properties of an electrical conductor in a first sub-band of frequencies and, on the other hand, a second reflection region exhibiting electromagnetic properties akin to a magnetic conductor in a second sub-band of frequencies. Each reflection region is designed to face a region of the antenna able to emit electromagnetic radiation in the corresponding sub-band of frequencies in order to reflect the electric field of the backward radiation in phase with the electric field of the forward radiation.

  • Patent number: 8976073
Abstract: In the field of wideband directional antennas employing linear polarization, and in particular in the context of amplitude goniometry systems, polarization purity defects lead to deformation of the radiation diagrams that increases with the elevation, inducing degraded detection system location performance. An antenna is provided operating with linear polarization and having radiating elements of “sinuous” shape inscribed within a circle, and includes radiating elements printed on the two faces of a support, the elements of the first face being deduced from those of the other face by a rotation.

  • Publication number: 20150009084
Abstract: An electromagnetic band gap device is disclosed that includes a dielectric support of which one face is metallized and of which a second face includes a plurality of non-adjoining conducting elements. Several conducting elements are linked together pairwise by a resistive element in the electromagnetic band gap device. At least two of the conducting elements are electrically insulated from one another and at least two resistive elements exhibit a different resistance value.

  • Publication number: 20090174623
Abstract: The invention relates to an antenna (ANT) comprising a radiating element (ELR) mounted above a substantially flat reflector. The radiating element (ELR) is of the broadband type and substantially flat. The reflector (SHI) has a metal periodic network (RS) of regular patterns in two dimensions, and a ground plane (PM) formed by the bottom face of the surface of the high impedance type. Each pattern of the periodic network (RS) is respectively connected to the ground plane (PM). The antenna having a thickness of the order of 1/13th of the wavelength at the minimum frequency of the frequency band.
