  • Patent number: 6286518
Abstract: This device comprises a reservoir and a dispensing head, equipped with at least one row of application teeth, this head being connected to the reservoir by at least one channel for conveying the product to the base of the teeth. According to the invention, the head comprises at least one row of retention teeth extending along each row of application teeth and located at a distance from the latter, these teeth being shorter than the teeth; the space between one row of application teeth and an adjacent row of retention teeth, and the spaces between the teeth in these two rows, are such that they permit the product to be retained in them so that said space located between one row of application teeth and an adjacent row of retention teeth forms an intermediate product reservoir capable of receiving and temporarily retaining this product.

  • Patent number: 6026796
Abstract: A target or rabbit launcher apparatus for firearm shooting exercise comprises a motor (2), a reducer (3) which actuates by a pendular movement of about 180.degree. an arming rod (4, 5) integral with one or a plurality of arming plates (6, 7). Each arming plate (6, 7) acts, through an arming trigger (8, 9), on an ejection arm (18, 19) by winding up an ejection spring; a locking stud controlled by an electromagnetic unit releases or locks each ejection arm (18, 19) in order to control the shooting; each ejection arm (18, 19) has its shooting rotation axis coaxial with the rotation axis of the arming rod (4, 5) integral with the reducer; the invention applies particularly to the launching of targets of the "rabbit" type.

  • Patent number: 5871003
Abstract: The apparatus is comprised of two launchers (6, 7) having the same technical characteristics, arranged next to each other. One of the launchers is symmetrical to the other one with respect to a vertical symmetry plane which separates them. Both launchers (6, 7) have their own launching ramp (8 and 9) and their launching arm (4, 5), each at a different level, and are mounted integrally with an oscillating plate (10). The oscillating plate (10) is mounted on an oscillation shaft (11) of a base plate (12) which forms the fixed base of the apparatus. The apparatus is used in sport shooting.

  • Patent number: 5406928
Abstract: Apparatus for launching targets for trap shooting whose speed and distance of projection are variable, of the type using a rotatable drum (1)into which are loaded movable targets (2). The movable targets (2) are superposed on each other in columns (3), maintained by tubes or vertical rollers, disposed between a recessed upper holding plate or having radial arms for the storage of movable targets and a lower recessed holding plate (4) for each column (3) of targets (2), or having radial arms between each column (3) of targets (2). The lower plate (4) is above and parallel to a fixed base plate which comprises a single recess (5) so as to permit the passage of movable targets (2) which are received on a launching plate (6) disposed before an ejection arm (7). One or several motors ensures the rotation of the drum (1) and the movement of the ejection arm (7).

  • Patent number: 5259360
Abstract: Apparatus for launching movable discs of targets for trap shooting, of the type using a rotatable barrel (2) into which are loaded movable targets (1) that are superposed on each other in columns (3, 4) maintained by vertical tubes (5), disposed between an upper plate (6) recessed for the passage of the movable targets (1) and a lower plate (7) recessed for the passage of the movable targets (1) which fall on a base plate (10) fixed against rotation, which presents each movable target (1) to a launching ramp (42) in front of the launching arm (11). The loading of the movable targets (1) takes place frontally by spacing apart the vertical tubes (5). On the base plate (10), a roller cam acts to maintain in place the next-to-last movable target, this roller cam comprising adjusting mechanism to be adapted as a function of the diameter of the targets (1) used.

  • Patent number: 4300520
Abstract: A target throwing device having a base and a support rotatably mounted on the basis for swinging movement about an upright axis. A throwing arm is rotatably mounted on the support for throwing targets. Structure is provided for eccentrically swinging the support back and forth while throwing targets. A mechanism is connected within a first eccentric drive connection and is operative in response to movement of the first eccentric drive for superimposing an eccentric series of short back and forth swings on the support during each long swing of the support. A second eccentric drive transmits eccentric motion to the support through a member that is movable with respect to the guide mechanism.

  • Patent number: 3971357
Abstract: Apparatus for throwing objects, and particularly "clay pigeons" for target shooting, wherein a spring driven throwing arm is locked in a position wherein the spring is in tension but the arm must be further mechanically driven against the spring tension to an equilibrium point where the throwing stroke will take place under the influence of the spring. The position of the throwing arm is controlled by an electric motor, a pair of parallel circuits for controlling the energization of the motor and a drive train between the motor and the shaft which supports the throwing arm; the drive train including a ratchet type arrangement which constrains the arm to movement in only one direction and "captures" the arm on "rebound" of the spring at the end of a throw.
