  • Patent number: 8857431
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a breathing mask for aircraft crewmember. The breathing mask includes an on-demand regulator with an inlet connected to a source of breathing gas and an outlet to exhaust the breathing gas. The outlet has an aperture controlled by a movable valve having an open position when the crewmember breathes out and a closed position when the crewmember breathes in. The breathing mask also has a latch member operable by a crewmember to latch the valve in the open position, the latch member including an unlocking member to release the valve when the cabin pressure is below a predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 6507131
Abstract: The high-voltage transformer comprises a core, a primary winding, a high-voltage winding arranged in a coil former, and a housing, whereat the primary winding is arranged at the outside of the housing. The housing is preferably cylindrical with wall-like juts between which the primary winding is wound, said juts especially placed at each side of the housing. The primary winding can be arranged as a dense winding at the outside of the housing which covers essentially the high voltage winding to shield the high voltage winding electrically. Auxiliary windings for providing low supply voltages can be placed also outside together with the primary winding. The transformer comprises only two plastic parts which requires less production steps and less material.

  • Patent number: 6211766
Abstract: A step-up coil of a high-voltage transformer for powering a cathode-ray tube comprises windings housed in chambers of a coil former. These windings are made in pairs. The inner end of the first winding of the pair is connected to an electrode of a first diode, the inner end of the second winding of the pair is connected to the electrode of like nature of the second diode, or alternatively, the outer end of the first winding of the pair is connected to an electrode of the first diode, the outer end of the second winding of the pair being connected to the electrode of like nature of the second diode. The inter-winding capacitances of the windings of the pair are thus non-activated, the corollary of this being a decrease in the value of stray oscillations of the output voltages.
