  • Publication number: 20220371957
Abstract: A copolymer may be obtained by polymerization reaction(s) using an anionic monomer and two polyethoxylated monomers. Such copolymers may have a polydispersity index, determined by size exclusion chromatography (SEC), of less than 3, and be obtained by at least one radical polymerisation reaction in water at a temperature ranging from 10 to 90° C. A composition may include such copolymers. Such copolymers may be prepared and use as a superplasticizer for a hydraulic binder composition.

  • Publication number: 20180009912
Abstract: The invention relates to a composition containing at least one catalyst (C1) containing at least one atom of an element (M1) chosen from: Al, Sc, Ti, Mg, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Zr, Sn, Hf, Pb, Si, Sb and In; a catalyst (C2) comprising at least one atom of an element (M2) chosen from alkali metals and alkaline-earth metals; a thermosetting resin and/or a hardener for a thermosetting resin. The invention also relates to the use of this composition for rendering a resin which is in the thermoset state hot-deformable and nevertheless free of any residual stress after the deformation thereof; such a resin will advantageously retain its shape even if it is subsequently subjected to high temperatures. The invention relates, moreover, to kits for preparing the composition, to a thermoset-resin-based object obtained from a composition of the invention, to a process for manufacturing objects, to a process for hot-deformation of objects and to various possible uses of the compositions and objects of the invention.

  • Publication number: 20170047142
Abstract: The present invention relates to the use, for manufacturing electrical insulation parts, of a composition including, in addition to an epoxy-type thermosetting resin and a hardening agent, at least one organic catalyst having a vitrimer effect. Said composition allows the production of vitrimer resins, i.e., resins that are deformable in the thermoset state, which have properties that are suitable for use in electrical insulation parts. The invention also relates to a method for preparing electrical insulation parts using the aforementioned composition.

  • Publication number: 20170044361
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition containing, besides a thermosetting resin of epoxy type and/or a hardener, at least one vitrimer effect catalyst and at least one polyol selected from linear, branched or cyclic alkanes containing at least two hydroxyl functions. This composition enables the manufacture of vitrimer resins, that is to say resins that can be deformed in the thermoset state. It also relates to an object obtained from this composition and also to a process for deforming this object.
