  • Publication number: 20250150673
Abstract: Methods and systems are presented for transferring an interactive feature from a first device to a second device. Two users may be consuming a media asset. Upon receipt of a command to active an interactive feature, a determination is made whether a user who did not activate the interactive feature is interested in the media asset. Upon that determination, a timer is activated that tracks an amount of time for which the interactive feature is active and a determination is made whether a threshold time period has been met. Once the threshold time period is met, a device associated with the user that activated the interactive feature is identified and the users are prompted to transfer the interactive feature to the device.

  • Patent number: 12289274
Abstract: In one embodiment, an access point is configured with a plurality of resource units (RUs). Each RU is configured to use a frequency range that differs from frequency ranges used by the other RUs. The access point determines a pattern of recurring signal performance over time. For each RU of the plurality of RUs, the pattern indicates the recurring signal performance with respect to a station when the station is located in a given physical location. The access point allocates one or more of the RUs for communicating with the station. The pattern is used for avoiding allocation of any of the RUs for which the station is predicted to experience strong multipath fading or other destructive interference.

  • Patent number: 12244893
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for efficiently “catching-up” a user that is interested in a media asset when that user has missed a portion of the media asset while consuming the media asset together with other people. The system may detect that multiple people are consuming a media asset and may determine, based on a respective profile of each person, whether that person is interested in the media asset. When the system detects that the user is disregarding the media asset, the missed portion of the media asset is stored if the user is interested in the media asset, and is not stored if the user is not interested in the media asset.

  • Patent number: 12182804
Abstract: A database system, method, and computer program product of handling purchases of products is presented, in which the database system comprises a relational database storing relational data for a plurality of products, a key-value database storing a plurality of first files and a plurality of second files, an interface module connecting the relational database with the key-value database, and a shopping engine to communicate with the key-value database. The interface module converts relational data stored in the relational database into first files and second files. The shopping engine queries the key-value database to retrieve available products in response to an availability request.

  • Publication number: 20240383577
Abstract: A mooring system for a floating electric power producing unit such as a wind turbine or a wave energy converter comprises a buoyant element held beneath the surface and a swivel supported by the buoyant element. The swivel comprises a static part that is held against angular movement about an upright axis and a rotating part that is movable angularly relative to the static part about the upright axis. A mooring link extends between the power producing unit and a mooring point supported by the buoyant element. A conductor link extends between the power producing unit and a connector supported by the buoyant element. The mooring point and the conductor link are movable angularly about the upright axis together with the rotating part of the swivel. Angular movement of the mooring link about the upright axis drives corresponding angular movement of the conductor link about the upright axis.

  • Publication number: 20240346064
Abstract: A system and method for data management providing a unique combination of tools that enable a user to bring digital media that include text, image, video, audio data, metadata, or a combination thereof and to place them within an application that automatically processes the digital media as they are input into user defined Spaces, wherein the user places digital media in specific Spaces in order to perform comparisons of all the digital media within a selected Space, wherein the application identifies associations between the digital media in the selected Space, may assign weights to those associations, may sort those associations by weight, and may then render in a visual display the identified associations using the criteria of boards, timelines, calendars, geography, selected categories, charts, virtual and augmented reality spaces and networks, and wherein the user may publish the associations in a visual manner and in a desired format.
