    Abstract: A static ventilator provided with a deformable corrugated portion is described herein. The static ventilator is provided with a tubular base to be installed to the roof, a sleeve to be connected to the tubular base and a cover to be installed to the free end of the sleeve. The tubular base is provided with a deformable corrugated portion enabling the tubular base to be installed to a sloping roof while allowing the sleeve to be positioned and maintained in a generally vertical orientation. The present invention is also concerned with a method for forming a tubular base for static ventilator provided with a corrugated portion.
