  • Patent number: 7749494
Abstract: The invention concerns the use of non-pathogenic hydrogenotrophic acetogenic bacterial strains for preparing a composition for treating or preventing gastrointestinal disorders associated with productions of digestive gases and/or for modulating the microbial balance of the digestive ecosystem in a mammal. The invention also concerns said pharmaceutical or food compositions, and the methods for monitoring and preparing said strains.

  • Publication number: 20080299341
Abstract: The invention relates to a three-dimensional laminate which can be used to make a rubber-based glove with improved transversal extensibility and elasticity, a method for the manufacture thereof, and said glove which is water-tight and also tight in relation to most household liquids. The inventive laminate defines an internal volume and comprises an internal support and at least one external rubber layer which adheres to said support. The internal support comprises an elastic non-woven structure.

  • Patent number: 7294490
Abstract: The invention concerns a method for detecting micro-organisms constituting a flora of micro-organisms, whereof at least part of the elements has a common operon. The invention is characterised in that it consists in identifying the elements of said flora by studying the intergenetic sequence of said operon, and the support exhibiting nucleic acids capable of hybridizing said intergenetic sequence.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 28, 2003
Date of Patent: November 13, 2007

  • Publication number: 20070000938
Abstract: A tablet dispenser has a tablet container within a housing. The container is slidably mounted to-and-fro, a part of the container being accessible so it can be moved from a rest position to a tablet-distribution position against the action of a spring. The container has a tablet-distribution channel that in the tablet-distributing position protrudes from one side of the housing. A bottom of the tablet container is delimited by a spring-forming inclinable transverse member movably or resiliently connected at one end with the container and at the other end to the housing. When the container is moved to the tablet-distributing position, the member is displaced inside the container to shake the tablets and form an inclined bottom leading to the tablet-distribution channel, thereby improving tablet dispensing reliability.

  • Publication number: 20060254663
Abstract: This invention relates to a flexible tube that includes a bellows having a plurality of convolutes formed in the wall of said tube and extending above the top surface of the tube, said convolutes being spaced from one another in the axial direction of the tube, wherein at least one of said convolutes comprises two opposing bending sections and two restrained elongation sections positioned between the bending sections, and wherein the height of the bending sections above the top surface of the tube is greater that the height of the restrained elongation sections above the top surface of the tube.

  • Patent number: 6027920
Abstract: A DNA cassette for expression and secretion of a given amino acid, polypeptide or protein in a host strain of corynebacterium, including a sequence which encodes the amino acid, polypeptide or protein, and a region of chromosomal or plasmid DNA, wherein the sequence is situated in the region of chromosomal or plasmid DNA such that the sequence is transcribed with, at the sequence's 5' end, at least one portion of a sequence encoding the signal sequence of the protein PS1 or PS2, the at least one portion ensuring the secretion of the amino acid, polypeptide or protein after translation when the DNA cassette is incorporated into the host strain of corynebacterium.
