  • Publication number: 20120102682
Abstract: A clip to secure trays in a stack including a platform, rails coupled to the platform to mate with tabs of at least bookending trays in the tray stack when the platform occupies a brake position thereof relative to the stack and an elastic brake element coupled to the platform and configured to be biased against the stack when the platform occupies the brake position to increase a mating friction between the rails and the tabs, the elastic brake element being actuatable against the bias to permit selective movement of the platform to and from the brake position, the selective movement solely actuating the elastic brake element.

  • Publication number: 20110292645
Abstract: An emergency illumination device includes a housing. The emergency illumination device is arranged to include a light source and a power supply. The emergency illumination device further includes a motion detector to generate a motion signal when motion is detected. The emergency illumination device is arranged to switch on the light source when a motion signal is generated by the motion detector. The housing includes a first outer surface arranged to support the emergency illumination device when positioned on a bearing surface. The motion detector generates a motion detection plane that is substantially perpendicular with respect to the first outer surface.

  • Patent number: 7997128
Abstract: A device for counting the rotations of a tire on a vehicle using the deformations that the tire undergoes on each rotation of the wheel, comprising a casing, a sensor intended to generate an electrical signal on each rotation of the wheel, and connection means intended to mechanically connect the casing and the sensor to the surface of the tire. The sensor is in the form of a passive sensor in one piece with the casing, whereof the signals emitted are in proportion with the variations over time in a magnetic flux through the said passive sensor, and a magnetic field generator is arranged opposite the passive sensor. The connection means mechanically connect the casing to a first surface A and the magnetic field generator to a second surface B, the two surfaces A and B being substantially coplanar and offset from one another in a direction D by a given distance L. The electrical signal is produced by the relative displacements of the said passive sensor and the said magnetic field generator.

  • Patent number: 7800803
Abstract: A single method and apparatus for producing many of the most common types of hologram from digital data is disclosed. The data are generated entirely by a computer as a 3-D (animated) model or from multiple 2-D camera images taken of a real 3-D (moving) object or scene from a plurality of different camera positions. The data are digitally processed and displayed on a small high resolution spatial light modulator (SLM). A compact low energy pulsed laser, is used to record composite holograms. The present invention permits the creation of restricted or full parallax master transmission or reflection type composite holograms, known as H1 holograms, that can be copied using traditional methods. Alternatively the same invention and apparatus permits the direct writing of hologram without the need to pass through the intermediate stage of the H1 transmission hologram.

  • Publication number: 20080311159
Abstract: The invention identifies a narrow subset of Mycobacterium latency associated antigens and or epitopes that are capable of eliciting an immune response in vivo and in vitro in a mammal. The invention provides methods and compositions for detection and immunization against latent Mycobacterium infections. These compositions comprise those Mycobacterial latency antigens that are actually capable of eliciting an immune response in vivo, in mammals experiencing a latent Mycobacterium infection. More preferably the compositions comprise those antigens that are preferentially recognized by latently infected individuals and which antigens are not, or to a much lesser extent, recognized in individuals having an active Mycobacterium infection or in individuals having Mycobacterium induced symptoms or diseases, such as in patients infected with M. tuberculosis suffering from tuberculosis disease (TB).
