  • Patent number: 11674481
Abstract: The resonator is configured to attenuate the noise in a duct delimiting an internal channel for the flow of a fluid according to a reference axis, of the type including an annular compartment configured to extend around the channel and provided with at least one orifice forming a neck for communication with the flow channel so as to form a resonance chamber. Accordingly, the compartment has an inner structure with a geometry shaped so as to produce a revolution annular asymmetry of the resonance chamber about the reference axis, adapted to generate a phase shift of an acoustic pressure wave reflected inside the chamber relative to an acoustic pressure wave incident from the main flow.

  • Patent number: 11598458
Abstract: A hinged connection device includes first and second tubular components around a main axis which respectively include a first male hinge member provided with an end head shaped as a spherical segment and a second female hinge member provided with a complementary seat receiving movably inside the end head of the first member. The first member is configured to be housed at least partially inside the first component and to be assembled to the second component throughout the second member. The second member is configured to be mounted around the second component and assembled to the first component over the first member such that the two tubular components are assembled together by the reciprocal intersection of the two hinge members.

  • Patent number: 11015741
Abstract: A fastening support includes a generally «C»-shaped annular body having two free ends which can be spaced apart to position the annular body around the item and a tab for fastening to the mounting point of an outer member. Furthermore, in accordance with the invention, the annular body includes, on an inner face, a plurality of retaining notches capable of cooperating with the tubular item such that the annular body is adapted to perform an incremental rotation from one notch to the other under the effect of a mechanical bias in rotation, between first and second angular positions for temporary immobilization in rotation by the retaining notches.

  • Patent number: 10260659
Abstract: A fastening method configured to fasten a mechanical part on a support by means of a fastening flange, the method including: placing the fastening flange on a first segment of the part, in a loose configuration, providing on the first segment at least one stop and on the fastening flange at least one bearing member, which cooperates with the stop so as to limit, in the loose configuration, the stroke of the fastening flange to a predetermined allowed displacement range, which allows to freely select an adapted position among a plurality of accessible positions, and to provide on the flange a locking mechanism arranged such that, when the subassembly is fastened to the support by means of the at least one lug, then a locking of the body of the fastening flange is automatically caused on the mechanical part in the adapted position.

  • Publication number: 20020088500
Abstract: A convoluted hose is disclosed, being particularly suitable for use in a motor vehicle engine. The hose has a series of annular corrugations, which improve the flexibility of the hose. Each corrugation varies gradually in height around the hose, from a minimum height to a maximum height. In one embodiment, the minimum height is separated from the maximum height by at least 120°, preferably 180°, and the minimum height may be zero. In another embodiment, the corrugations are of elliptical cross section, each corrugation having two maximum height parts and two minimum height parts, the minimum height being 10% or more of the maximum height. The arrangement of minimum height parts of the corrugations allows limitation of axial expansion of the hose.

  • Patent number: 5700498
Abstract: Apparatus for blow-molding an article curved in three dimensions comprises two horizontally movable mold parts which, when in contact with each other, define a mold cavity curved in three dimensions to match the required article. An extrusion head extrudes a parison of synthetic resin material into the cavity so that it descends towards the lower end thereof. During this process, a first air flow is fed through apertures in a cover and passes through the mold cavity around the outside of the parison to ease the passage of the parison towards the lower end. In addition, a second air flow is fed through a nozzle in the extrusion head into the interior of the parison so as to help it descend and also to prevent its distortion as it moves into the mold cavity. Thereafter, closure members, which are slidable on, but movable independently of, the main mold parts, close off the upper and lower ends of the mold cavity and pinch the parison between them, their movements being controlled by respective actuators.
