  • Patent number: 9205522
Abstract: An equipment for coating an airfoil of a turbine blade of a turbine engine in a coating block, including a base on which a molding block is positioned for flow of the coating metal, the molding block including a cavity defining a reference plane on the block for positioning the block in space, wherein the base also includes a cradle supporting the blade via six bearing points defining an orientation plane representative of an angular position of the airfoil relative to a root of the blade. The cradle is rotatably movable relative to the base about an axis oriented so as to be substantially parallel to a direction of a leading edge of the blade, to enable a modification in an angle formed between the reference and orientation planes.

  • Patent number: 4725417
Abstract: The invention concerns a process for removing sulfur oxides and particularly sulfur dioxide contained in such gases as industrial fumes, wherein said gas is contacted with a solid absorbent containing magnesium oxide and at least one group VIII noble metal, in such conditions that the sulfur oxides are mainly fixed as magnesium sulfate, and then the used solid absorbent is regenerated by contact with a hydrogen sulfide-containing reducing gas.

  • Patent number: 4535067
Abstract: There are described catalysts containing, as oxides, iron, chromium and potassium, the latter being optionally partly in form of kaliophyllite Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, 2 SiO.sub.2, K.sub.2 O, as well as lanthanum, in a proportion, calculated in oxide weight, of 1-15% with respect to the final catalyst. The presence in the catalyst of lanthanum oxide, optionally previously combined with cobalt or vanadium, at least in part in the form of a mixed oxide of the perovskite type, confers to the catalyst an improved activity and/or selectivity in dehydrogenation reactions, particularly of ethylbenzene to styrene.

  • Patent number: 4533650
Abstract: A process for manufacturing catalysts containing, as oxides, iron, chromium, potassium, as well as a rare earth metal in a proportion, calculated in oxide weight, of 1-15% with respect to the final catalyst, comprises:a first step, wherein a product is prepared by a reaction between compounds of rare earth metal(s) and of another metal selected from Fe, Cr, Co, Al or V, and a calcination; anda second step wherein a mixture is formed between the product resulting from the first step, the other necessary reactants and water; the resulting paste is dried after optional shaping and calcined. A clayish material can be used in the step. The catalysts obtained present an improved efficiency in dehydrogenation reactions, particularly of ethylbenzene to styrene.

  • Patent number: 4522648
Abstract: A process for desulfurization of gases with molten mineral baths during gasification of carbon products comprises the replacement of limestone or calcomagnesium materials by metallurgical slags, such as blast-furnace or steel-furnace slags, having a high basicity index. By means of this replacement, substantial savings in material and energy are achieved. Moreover, the use of residual slags for production of mineral materials that can be granulated and pelletized having good hydraulic properties, and pig iron that can be reused in metallurgical circuits, is assured.
