    Abstract: For locally supporting an overhead electrical power line, a suspension includes a suspension clamp, the bottom part of which is open laterally and forms a cradle which is associated with a pivoting clamping assembly. The suspension clamp includes, in addition to the clamping system, a pivoting closure clamp which closes the cross-section of the bottom part when required. Applications include installing and supporting low-voltage overhead electrical power lines formed of insulated cables.
