  • Patent number: 11237093
Abstract: An external fluidic system and methods of operating the same are provided. The fluidic system can be hot-swap connected to a flow-cytometer-based system at runtime to expand sheath or waste fluid storage capability of the flow-cytometer-based system by making only minimal changes to the flow-cytometer-based system. The external fluidic system can include a pump and a controller configured to operate the external fluidic system such that the sheath fluid is supplied from the external fluidic system to the flow-cytometer-based system or the waste fluid is extracted from the flow-cytometer-teased system and provided to the external fluidic system.

  • Publication number: 20110131722
Abstract: An insulated jacket for an un-insulated spa has at least one insulating material that is enclosed by a cover. The cover has top and bottom ends and two free side ends. The cover includes means for securing the ends together when the cover surrounds the side wall of the spa to form a continuous periphery. The cover insulates against heat loss for heated water contained in the spa.

  • Publication number: 20080144837
Abstract: A method of performing IBE cryptography comprising the steps of a key generation server transmitting a master public key to a processor, the processor generating or retrieving a fresh master public key derived from the master public key transmitted by the key generation centre, and the processor using the fresh master public key to generate a public key for transmitting a message to a recipient device having a corresponding private key. The processor may store the fresh master public key in a read only memory for repeated use or it may dynamically generate it. To dynamically generate the fresh master public key the processor multiplies the original master public key by a curve co-factor. The processor may be incorporated into a hand-held card, and it may transfer information to a linked second processor for performing some of the calculations.
