Abstract: A cap and filter assembly for fuel tanks of automotive vehicles is provided in which the cap comprises two hollow cylindrical members of plastic material. One of said members has at one end a handle and a circular flange of the closure of the filler opening and at the other end first snap means for engaging and retaining a cylinder lock and second snap means for receiving a complementary portion of the other of said hollow cylinder members. The engagement between the two members is established by means of mating square cross-section portions of said members.

Abstract: A bush of plastic material is provided which is intended to be embedded in the panel of semi-foamed or foamed synthetic resin and which comprises a cup-shaped portion having a bottom provided with a hole for anchoring the head of a panel fastener and a cover portion adapted to engage by snap action a mouth of said cup-shaped portion so as to provide a seal and integrally connected to the cup-shaped portion through a web acting as a hinge.

Abstract: A device for engaging in and disengaging printed circuit cards from the associated card holding frame is provided, which comprises at least an operating lever and at least a card guide element having at each of its ends a head portion, the guide element head portion facing the outside of the card holding frame being provided with means for receiving by snap action said operating lever, said operating lever having a means for engagement with the card so that the rotation of the operating lever causes the card to be engaged in or disengaged from the card guide element.

Abstract: An insulating assembly for stator slots of electrical motors is provided comprising a pair of end plates of insulating material having a center opening for receiving a rotor and outwardly of said opening cutouts having the same shape as the stator slots of electrical motor, each of said cutouts having along the periphery thereof a flange extending from said end plate, intended to be inserted in a stator slot so as to form an insulating partition between the inner wall of the slots and the stator winding.

Abstract: A connector is provided of the type having the insulating body formed of a pair of similar half-shells adapted to be coupled to each other. The connector comprises a portion integrally formed therewith and forming a clamping region for the cable supplying the connector contacts.

Abstract: The wing nut is formed from plastic meterial and is provided with a tubular shank portion. The inner surface of shank is self-tapped when the wing nut is forced onto a threaded stud projections from an air filter cover. A sucker-like collar portion is provided for abutting the cover wall.

Abstract: A plastic strain relief clamp is provided which comprises a head and a body having a through bore for receiving a cable, a pawl integrally formed with the body and flexibly connected thereto adjacent the bore and a second bore for a self-tapping screw adapted to be brought in engagement with the pawl in order to engage the pawl with the cable.

Abstract: An adjustable end cap for moldings formed of an element of a plastic material comprising a first portion intended to be inserted in a molding end and a second portion forming an abutment with said first portion and intended to project from the molding end. The first portion has a member for anchoring the plastic element in a hole provided in a wall to which said molding is to be applied and between said member and said second portion of the plastic element an yieldable section is provided which permits relative movements between said anchoring member and said second portion.

Abstract: A filler cap is provided comprising a flange having a handgrip, a stem of square shape for engagement in a complimentary square shaped opening in the tank. The stem is comprised of two sections angularly offset relative to each other by 45.degree. and connected by inclined surfaces. Once the first section of the stem is inserted into the tank opening it is sufficient to rotate the cap by 1/8 of a turn in order to lock it in a closed position.

Abstract: A plastic clamp is provided for tightening a bundle of thread-like elements. This clamp is of the type comprising a head having a passage therein and an integral strap provided with ratchet teeth which, as the strap is passed around the bundle and threaded into said passage, engages a pawl formed in the passage integrally with the head. The pawl is connected to the head through a pair of coaxially extending pins formed on two opposite sides of said pawl.

Abstract: A button and connecting member assembly is described wherein the connecting member is in the form of an elongated ring and the button has a projection in the form of a spring catch. Both members are made integrally from a plastic material.
