    Abstract: A system and method for controlling communication between a mobile device and a network server is provided. The system comprises a policy server and a base station controller. The policy server stores a plurality of customer profiles. Each customer profile comprises a customer identifier and at least one customer policy. The base station controller is in communication with the policy server. The policy server is configured to send at least one customer profile to the base station controller. The base station controller is configured to use at least one customer profile from the policy server to control communications between a network server and at least one mobile device used by a customer.
