    Abstract: A method of sealing a crack in a first material is provided in which the repair seals and stabilizes the first material. The longitudinal axis of the crack is determined. A carbon fiber material in which the fibers of the material have warp and weft direction is applied to the crack so that at least one of the warp and weft directions of the fiber is generally perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the crack.
