Abstract: An apparatus for treating blood with veno-venous access comprising: a blood circuit (C1, C2) provided with an inlet branch (C3) and an outlet branch (C4), an oxygenator (OX), a blood pump (P) adapted for drawing blood from the patient and returning it to the patient at a first blood flow value. The blood pump (P) is a volumetric peristaltic pump; the blood circuit (C1, C2) comprises a high-speed portion (C1) and a recirculation circuit (C2); the apparatus (100) comprises at least one pressure measuring means (PA; PR; PP), as well as automatic flow regulation means (FD) acting on the recirculation circuit to determine a second blood flow value in the same recirculation circuit (C2) so that in the high speed portion (C1) the flow value is the sum of said first and second flow values.

Abstract: A device for regional anticoagulation by citrate-Calcium, of the type usable in a circuit which comprises a first duct or blood line (2) provided with an inlet (1) to withdraw blood from the patient and a downstream outlet (7) for return the treated blood to the patient, device characterized in that it is arranged on said blood line (2) and is provided with a membrane made of a material adapted to bind with the Citrate.

Abstract: A device for sterilizing a forced air flow by means of ultraviolet radiations, comprising an elongated housing provided with reflecting inner surfaces accomodating at least an ultraviolet radiations source and a fan for sucking air into the device and sending it out after being subjected to the ultraviolet radiation in an air flow passage.The device provides at each ends means for shielding and absorbing the ultraviolet radiation to prevent the dispersion thereof outside the device, made up by an optical labyrinth formed by parallel and spaced fins.In an embodiment to be applied to an air conditioning plant, the device does not include a fan and the input opening is shaped for being fitted the output of an air conditioning duct.
