  • Patent number: 9066652
Abstract: A method of processing in a medical device an electric biological signal collected from a patient, includes: a) acquiring a plurality of samples from the electric biological signal according to a sampling process wherein each sample is taken from the electric biological signal and memorized; b) during the sampling process of a), monitoring an active/inactive status of a radio time-division-multiplexing transmission of signals from the medical device over a radio communication network; and, when the status of the radio time-division-multiplexing transmission becomes active, c) preventing in a) the acquisition of any of the plurality of samples, which according to the sampling process should be acquired during the active status of the radio time-division-multiplexing transmission, from being performed until the radio time-division-multiplexing transmission remains in the active status.

  • Patent number: 8325237
Abstract: A system for monitoring television signals broadcast by at least one transmission antenna in a broadcast area includes a monitoring control center and a plurality of remote monitoring units distributed in television signal receiving locations of the broadcast area remote from the transmission antenna. The remote monitoring units are configured to receive the television signals irradiated in the respective locations, process the television signals and send to the monitoring control center information related to the processed television signal. In particular, the remote monitoring units include a receiver adapted to receive the television signal, a measuring system adapted to perform measures on radio-electric features of the received television signal, and a communication system adapted to communicate measurement results to the remote monitoring center, exploiting a communication link between the remote monitoring unit and the control center.

  • Patent number: 7046990
Abstract: A controlled area (A) is configured as a telecommunications cellular system location area, connection of cellular system mobile terminals (T) to such location area (A) is checked. A detected connection indicates that the bearer of the terminal (T) accessed the controlled area, which information can thus be used both to prevent unauthorized access and to certify and document authorized access also by interrogation through the system. The fact that terminal (T) has been kept switched on inside the controlled area despite this being interdicted can also be detected and such behavior can be debited to the terminal (T) involved and/or the terminal can be inhibited by means of temporary deactivation of the terminal (T).

  • Publication number: 20050130667
Abstract: The invention refers to a specialised mobile terminal (1) intended to be localised by means of a suitable equipped telecommunications network (2). The mobile device (1) only implements the functions required for location definition and can be activated both remotely and possibly locally by the user of the device (1). The device (1) may also comprise a display to view the localisation data determined by means of the network.

  • Publication number: 20040077344
Abstract: The present invention relates to a test plant (10) for digital mobile radio systems comprising one or more radio base stations (RBSs) (12), a corresponding base station controller (BSC) (11) and a testing apparatus (14) interposed between the RBSs (12) and the BSC (11). The test plant (10), and the testing apparatus (14) in particular, make it possible to check mobile radio system performance while allowing proprietary Operation & Maintenance messages to travel transparently between the RBSs (12) and The BSC (11), and generating, in the apparatus (14), radio protocol messages (Radio signaling Link messages) which in general constitute the portion of information on which testing is carried out and are organized in accordance with predetermined standards.

  • Publication number: 20040030812
Abstract: System for controlling remote apparatuses following the reception of a specific message, consisting of a sequence of characters initially defined by the user, to activate special procedures, for example a reset procedure that returns the program of the entire apparatus to a known initial status. The remote apparatus sends a feedback message to the supervising apparatus confirming that the reset operation has been performed. It can be achieved by means of a specific circuit or by integrating the circuit in new versions of microprocessors or microcontrollers to be marketed.

  • Publication number: 20030083043
Abstract: Controlled area (A) is configured as a telecommunications cellular system location area, by checking connection of cellular system mobile terminals (T) to such location area (A). Connection corresponds to terminal (T) bearer access to the controlled area and can thus be used both to prevent unauthorized access and to certify and document authorized access also by interrogation through the system. The fact that terminal (T) has been kept switched on inside the controlled area despite denial can also be detected and such behavior debited to the terminal (T) involve and/or inhibited by means of temporary denial of the terminal (T)'s activation.
