  • Patent number: 6983511
Abstract: A multipurpose tool for cleaning machines, having a body that is interchangeably associable with a cleaning machine provided with an electric motor; the body is movable on wheels and a front advancement part thereof is arranged transversely to a main direction of motion so as to form a housing that is open downward and accommodates a bristled roller that is moved, by virtue of transmission elements, by an electric motor accommodated within the body; the body is articulated to a coupling element that is suitable to provide a detachable connection to the machine with a dirt suction duct. The tool further includes a pair of interchangeable covers that are selectively detachably associable below the housing at an open region where the roller is located, each of the covers having at least one suction slot and elements for closing the region to the rear of the roller between the housing and the floor.

  • Publication number: 20010049855
Abstract: A multipurpose tool for cleaning machines, comprising a box-like body which is interchangeably associable with a cleaning machine adequately provided with a power outlet and is movable on wheels; a front advancement part of the body is arranged transversely to a main direction of movement, so as to form a housing which accommodates a roller which is provided with bristles and is moved, by way of transmission means, by an electric motor which is accommodated within the body. The body is articulated to a connecting element adapted to provide a detachable connection to the machine with a dirt suction duct. The bristle-fitted roller is replaceable, and an inlet of the suction duct can be opened and closed by way of the presence of a passage flow control flap.

  • Publication number: 20010017149
Abstract: A mechanical clutch assembly, particularly for rotary motion transmission shafts in household or professional cleaning machines. The assembly comprises a first driving disk and a second driven disk which are inserted coaxially in a transmission shaft; the first driving disk is fixed to the shaft and the second driven disk is free with respect to the shaft and is associated, so that it is free to perform a translation movement along the axis of the shaft, with a transmission coupling connected to a corresponding cleaning tool. The first and second disks have, on mutually opposite faces, first radially protruding teeth which are adapted to mesh together, so as to ensure the transmission of motion up to a preset value of the torque; the coupling, which is free with respect to the shaft, accommodates pusher elements for the second disk which are adapted to keep the second disk pushed so as to mesh with the first disk up to preset limits of transmitted torque.

  • Patent number: 6006399
Abstract: A tubular extension, particularly for electric household appliances and cleaning machines in general, comprising at least two tubular elements telescopically associated with each other, a first one of these tubular elements being associated coaxially with a second one having a smaller cross-section and being slideable inside the first tubular element, one of these first and second tubular elements having at least one sliding portion whereat the outer or inner lateral surface is shaped so as to form at least one step, wherefrom the cross-section gradually increases radially and along a given peripheral arc, a longitudinal cavity being formed at the peripheral arc, and a tooth having a similar shape fitting snugly and reversibly in the cavity after sliding over a portion of the surface relative to the peripheral arc, the tooth being formed at the inner or outer surface of the other one of the first and second tubular elements on the side where mutual coupling occurs upon assembly.
