  • Patent number: 11982600
Abstract: A trap for horizontal flow marine sediment, useful for collecting and sampling marine sediments where horizontal currents are intense and turbulent; the trap is comprising a first inlet opening and a second outlet opening, configured to allow the inlet and the outlet of a marine current, the path between the two openings comprising: an inlet area with a divergent section, connected to the first inlet opening; a sedimentation area with a greater section with respect to the inlet area, in order to allow gravity separation of particles present in the marine current. The trap also has an outlet area whose section converges in terms of width between the section where the outlet area is connected to the sedimentation area and to the second outlet opening.

  • Publication number: 20140205721
Abstract: A coffee capsule is configured to receive roasted and ground coffee and is suitable for preparing an espresso beverage using pressurised hot water in an espresso machine. It includes a capsule part and a membrane attached thereto. The capsule part is a frustoconical plastics part with a conical side wall and has a top part with a retaining plate integrally formed on the small frustoconical diameter. The retaining plate has at least one perforation zone with perforations that permit the entry of hot water into the coffee capsule. The retaining plate has a contact surface to which an aroma-protection foil completely covering the at least one perforation zone may be attached.

  • Publication number: 20140199442
Abstract: A coffee capsule which contains a capsule part is configured to receive roasted and ground coffee and is suitable for preparing an espresso beverage using pressurized hot water in an espresso machine. The capsule part is a frustoconical plastics part with a conical side wall and an outwardly protruding peripheral flange integrally formed on the large frustoconical diameter. The peripheral flange has a peripheral external thickened portion. A tearable membrane is able to be welded onto an internal peripheral welding surface of the peripheral flange. A radially extending bellows is present between the welding surface and the peripheral external thickened portion. The bellows can be plastically and/or elastically deformed while maintaining a sealing effect with radial and axial tolerance compensation for a brewing chamber-closing device of the espresso machine.

  • Publication number: 20140087028
Abstract: Truncated-cone-shaped capsules of plastic can have a lower construction height than the widespread aluminium capsules for creating an espresso, in order to avoid the hot water injection needles penetrating into the portioned package of plastic and bonding. By way of this, a greater quantity of heated water at an increased pressure prevails outside the truncated-cone-shaped capsule with its conical side wall and the circumferential flange projecting circumferentially therefrom. This necessitates greater demands on the sealing of the truncated-cone-shaped capsule with respect to the brewing chamber, in which the capsule is introduced. It is therefore suggested to attach a seal in each case on the flange on the head-part-side surface as well as the opposite membrane-side surface.
