Abstract: Systems and methods of matching employers to job applicants are provided. Job applicants provide self-assessment of their capabilities in certain abilities, skills, knowledge, and other employment-related attributes. Associates of the job applicants provide their assessment of the job applicant with respect to the same or substantially similar attributes. Employers post job positions specifying certain abilities, skills, and knowledge as being required or optional for job applicants for the position. Employers are matched with job applicants based on comparisons of the abilities, skills, and knowledge and other job attributes of the job applicants against the abilities, skills, and knowledge and other job attributes desired by the employers.

Abstract: A device for preventing thumb sucking is provided, comprising a glove worn on a hand, wherein the glove includes a first opening for insertion of the hand, a second opening opposite the first opening for permitting uncovered use of the four fingers of the hand; a thumb covering portion for completely covering the thumb of the hand while the glove is worn on the hand; and a fastening device adjacent to the first opening for preventing removal of the glove from the hand; wherein the glove is constructed from a material containing one or more designs which are attractive to a child wearing the glove.

Abstract: An apparatus for the distribution and display of jewelry includes a plurality of precious or semi-precious gems coupled together in a “T” shape with at least one horizontalbar and one downbar, the horizontalbar having clasps at both ends and the downnbar having a clasp at one end. The apparatus further includes a clothing article requiring at least one strap for support with a semi-permnanently attached loops being configured to receive a respective attachment device. The apparatus further includes a flexible strand or chain having attached loops at both ends, each of the loops being configured to receive a respective attachment device. The jewelry article is designed in order to be distributed and displayed as an integral structural member of the clothing and jewelry combination or the flexible strand or chain and jewelry combination.

Abstract: Hair integration apparatus having cables defining inter-cable spaces. When worn on the head, natural hair extends through the inter-cable spaces with supplemental hair being carried by at least some of the cables. In a preferred embodiment, primary cables extend generally horizontally about the head between locations on an outer band and include reinforcing members to maintain the primary cables in position adjacent the scalp.

Abstract: A remotely activated sensory stimulation device comprised of a case, a tactile stimulatory means, a receiving unit, a transmitting unit and a controller. The amplitude and frequency of the tactile stimulation is adjustable to provide different prompts or to alter the prompt. The device is further camouflaged with a second functionality to eliminate any social stigma. The device is useful for teaching individuals with a variety of learning disorders including Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

Abstract: The acoustical support panel according to the invention comprises a membrane of resilient material, such as one obtained with shredded used tires, which is laminated on a base of compression resistant cellulose fibers. This panel has shown a noted increase of insulation from impact and aerial noises. It has an excellent dimensional stability and high resistance to compression.

Abstract: An elongated durable corrosion resistent dishwasher accessory for securing and supporting stemware in a dishwasher rack. At one end of the dishwasher accessory is a C-shaped clip for connecting to a horizontal wire stringer on a dishwasher rack. At that same end of the dishwasher accessory is a bore that allows a vertical wire stringer to pass within the bore to secure the dishwasher accessory to the dishwasher rack. At the opposite end of the dishwasher accessory is two oppositely positioned gripper jaws with various sized bores therein. These bores clip around the stem of a piece of stemware, which secures the stemware in a vertical downward position within a dishwasher rack when the dishwasher accessory is secured to the wire stringer. This allows the washing streams of water to securely wash the liquid retaining portion of the stemware without upsetting or turning over the stemware in the dishwasher rack.

Abstract: A draining apparatus for collecting fluids from a container. This device consists essentially of a base and a rotational receptacle support which holds, in place, the container which is to be drained. The container is held in an inverted position and is uniquely secured for draining and can be easily released to facilitate collection and use.
