    Abstract: A battery-operated light-emitting device including a housing having two battery-receiving ports extending in the housing. A light is mounted on the housing. A power source is connected to the light and includes a removable battery, and a battery charging device for charging the battery. A central processing unit is connected to the battery connectors and the light. A receiver is mounted on the housing and is connected to the central processing unit. A remote transmitter is provided for sending signals to the receiver, and a multiple signal selector switch is mounted to the housing and is connected to the central processing unit for allowing a particular signal to be received from the transmitter for energizing the light. An interchangeable cover removably mounts on the housing when the housing is in a mounted condition on a wall.
