  • Publication number: 20180114193
Abstract: A system and method for scheduling and defining calendar events on a user's electronic calendar are disclosed. An exemplary method begins with receiving a main event with a specified date. An event template may be selected that is related to the main event. A user's calendar may then be populated with template events from the event template using the main event date as the date from which template events are offset. Users may modify existing event templates or create their own templates. Additionally, users may modify, delete, or create new events that may be associated with the main event and treated as part of an event group along with events created in a calendar from a specified template.

  • Publication number: 20160362190
Abstract: A synthetic vision system includes a main processor that receives real time telemetry, the main processor retrieving tiles associated with a terrain map based on the real time telemetry, and the main processor processes the tiles corresponding to a mode of display. A rendering processor receives the tiles processed by the main processor, and the rendering processor renders the tiles into synthetic vision image. The rendering processor sends the synthetic vision image to at least one of a primary flight display (PFD), multi-functional display (MFD), and a secondary flight display (SFD). A processor in the at least one of the PFD, MFD, and SFD replaces inactive pixels (black pixels) with pixels of the synthetic vision image such that the synthetic vision image underlays the flight data displayed on the at least one of the PFD, MFD, and SFD.

  • Publication number: 20160314342
Abstract: A computer-implemented method of processing an input digital image is provided. The method includes forming a representation of the input digital image as wavelet components; and for each of a plurality of facial regions in the input digital image: forming a reconstructed facial region based on a subset of the wavelet components; and identifying pixels associated with facial wrinkles in the facial region as pixels In the reconstructed facial region that differ from corresponding pixels in the facial region by a first threshold amount.

  • Publication number: 20150278737
Abstract: Embodiments described herein may involve methods and systems for automatic generation of a calendar event with structured data from free-form speech. An example method may involve receiving a speech segment, where the speech segment includes a spoken-language description of an event. In some cases, a determination can be made that portions of the spoken-language description correspond to time data, substance of the event, location of the event, and/or event attendees. This determination may then be used to generate a calendar-event object, where a when-field of the calendar-event object is set based on the time data, where a what-field of the calendar-event object is set based on the substance of the event, where a where-field of the calendar-event object is set based on the location of the event and determined location information, and/or where a who-field of the calendar-event object is set based on event-attendees.

  • Publication number: 20150234798
Abstract: A method and system for adjusting a web application user interface (UI). The method includes rendering the web application UI and detecting at least one state change of a web application or affecting online accessibility of the web application using a processor of a computing device. The method further includes adjusting one or more elements of the web application UI in dependence upon the at least one state change, wherein the adjusting comprises utilization of cascading style sheets (CSS) with at least one of descendant selectors and cascading rules. The method also includes rendering the web application UI with the adjusted one or more elements. The utilization of the cascading style sheets (CSS) classes includes applying a new property to a UI element, and through one or more descendant selectors, applying one or more new properties to one or more sublevel elements of the UI element.

  • Patent number: 9069866
Abstract: Location-specific content is automatically generated for a particular entity having a plurality of physical locations. Database entries that contain identifying data associated with the particular entity are searched for to obtain location information of each of the plurality of physical locations. The location information, in correlation with one or more keywords associated with the particular entity, is stored in a computer-readable electronic database such that a user-generated query that includes at least one of the keywords and a search location causes a processor to execute operations that initiates a search of the computer-readable electronic database for the location information of the physical locations that are in proximity to the search location. At least one result that is displayable to the user is provided.
