  • Publication number: 20090000060
Abstract: The present invention provides a cover for a grip that includes a first sheet of absorbent material having a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge and a second sheet of elastic or semi-elastic material having a first longitudinal edge and a second longitudinal edge. The first longitudinal edge of the elastic or semi-elastic material is attached to an inner surface of the absorbent material substantially parallel to the first longitudinal edge of the absorbent material to form a flap. The second longitudinal edge of the elastic or semi-elastic material is removably attached to the second longitudinal edge of the absorbent material via a first fastener to constrictively affix the elastic or semi-elastic material and the absorbent material around the grip. The first longitudinal edge of the absorbent material is removably attached to an external surface of the absorbent material via a second fastener so as to conceal the first fastener.

  • Patent number: 7239805
Abstract: A panoramic high-dynamic range (HDR) image method and system of combining multiple images having different exposures and at least partial spatial overlap wherein each of the images may have scene motion, camera motion, or both. The major part of the panoramic HDR image method and system is a two-pass optimization-based approach that first defines the position of the objects in a scene and then fills in the dynamic range when possible and consistent. Data costs are created to encourage radiance values that are both consistent with object placement (defined by the first pass) and of a higher signal-to-noise ratio. Seam costs are used to ensure that transitions occur in regions of consistent radiances. The result is a high-quality panoramic HDR image having the full available spatial extent of the scene along with the full available exposure range.

  • Publication number: 20060006191
Abstract: The present invention defines a system (100) for one-at-a-time paper clip dispensing. The system includes a housing (102), and a retrieval receptacle (114) disposed somewhere along the exterior of the housing. A storage component (104) is disposed along or within the housing, and is adapted to receive loose paper clips. A gate component (106) is operably coupled to the storage component, and a sorting component is incorporated within the storage or gate component(s). An actuating system (110) is disposed somewhere within or along the housing. A retrieval system (112) is disposed between the receptacle and the storage component. The retrieval system is adapted to retrieve a single paper clip from the gate component, and deliver the paper clip to the receptacle, responsive to activation of the actuating system.
