  • Patent number: 10609170
Abstract: The illustrative embodiment of the present invention provides a platform that enables a content developer to distribute uniform content to multiple types of requesting mobile devices. By authoring content in a generic markup language and using the technologies included in the Mobile Content Framework (MCF), the content developer is able to provide content to multiple types devices without providing different versions of the content. The content may be authored originally in the generic markup language or translated from other languages into the generic markup language by the MCF. The MCF exploits the capabilities and accommodates the limitations of different types of wireless devices by converting generic markup language content to device-specific content. The MCF interacts with device registries holding records of the device attributes in order to provide the device-specific content. The MCF handles these issues for current mobile devices while also being extensible for future mobile devices.

  • Publication number: 20150006260
Abstract: A computer system for assessing the performance of an organisation is configured to load member data and assessment data; assign an assessment type to each member using the member assessment data; send question data including a series of performance criteria questions to each member, which include a set of performance statements provided in contrasting ways such that each member provides two input scores for each performance statement; receive input scores including two scores for each performance statement; store the input scores for each member as results data, which is associated with at least one of the assessment type and the performance statements; process the results data to provide output data by calculating an average difference between the two scores providing a discrepancy metric for each of the set of performance statements, and send the output data including the discrepancy metric representing the performance of the organisation.

  • Publication number: 20080194006
Abstract: Methods of releasing sporocysts/sporozoites from oocysts are provided wherein a solution of oocysts is subjected to controlled shear forces sufficient to rupture the oocysts walls and release sporocysts/sporozoites therefrom. A solution of oocysts is passed through a Microfluidizer® processor chamber unit under defined conditions of chamber diameter, chamber geometry, and pressure. Oocysts impact the wall of the chamber and are subjected to controlled, high shear forces, tearing open the oocyst wall and releasing the sporocysts/sporozoites intact.
