Patent number: 10294642Abstract: A lavatory system includes a basin having a water collecting area having a back wall, a bottom wall, and a front wall. The back wall of the water collecting area is proximate the wall on which the lavatory system is mounted. Further, an opening may extend through the front wall. The lavatory system also includes a hand dryer having a blower located below the water collecting area and a first plenum having an input and an output. The input is connected to the blower to receive a first air flow from the blower, and the output is aligned with the opening in the front wall of the water collecting area to deliver the first air flow from the front wall over the water collecting area.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 2017Date of Patent: May 21, 2019Assignee: Bradley Fixtures CorporationInventors: Graeme S. Bayley, Mark A. Figurski, John M. Loberger, Michelle L. Rundberg, Kevin M. Kohlwey, Theodore E. Dhein, Kenneth A. Kreitzer, Kevin B. Kline, Jason M. Renner, Scott I. Biba, Cory R. Patent number: 10172498Abstract: A lavatory system includes a hand dryer with at least a first proximity sensor and a second proximity sensor to detect an object for drying. A controller is communicatively linked to the first and second proximity sensors. The controller activates a drying operation after a first delay period if the first proximity sensor first detects the object for drying and activates a drying operation after a second delay period if the second proximity sensor first detects the object for drying. A filter flow sensor may also be provided to ensure proper filtering of the dryer's air.Type: GrantFiled: December 12, 2015Date of Patent: January 8, 2019Assignee: Bradley Fixtures CorporationInventors: Graeme S. Bayley, Mark A. Figurski, John M Loberger, Michelle L Rundberg, Kevin M Kohlwey, Theodore E Dhein, Kenneth A Kreitzer, Kevin B Kline, Jason M Renner, Scott I Biba, Cory R Boudreau

Patent number: 10100501Abstract: A multi-purpose hand washing station is disclosed that includes a hand dryer attached to a basin. The hand dryer includes a top air plenum and a bottom air plenum. A grid molded into each air plenum provides structural support to the plenums. Both the top and bottom air plenums include a plurality of air outlets that direct pressurized air from a blower for hand drying. An air hose that supplies pressurized air to the bottom air plenum includes a water trap that prevents water from flowing into the air outlets, down the air hose, and to the blower. A soap dispenser mounted on the basin dispenses liquefied soap for hand washing and is refillable by opening a lid on the soap dispenser and pouring liquefied soap into a funnel insert where it travels through a fill port into a reservoir.Type: GrantFiled: March 13, 2013Date of Patent: October 16, 2018Assignee: Bradley Fixtures CorporationInventors: Mark A. Publication number: 20120260418Abstract: Systems and methods for a lavatory system are described that include a bidirectional hand dryer having a top, bottom, back, and right side and multiple sensors and LEDs. Upper and lower nozzles are also provided and respectively connected to upper and lower plenums. At least two flexible air delivery hoses are connected to the plenums. A motor housing is provided and includes a motor, ports connected to the hoses, noise abatement features, and a motor microcontroller. A hand-receiving cavity exists between the top, back, right, and bottom side for receiving at least one hand of a user. Tips are connected to the nozzles and emit high speed colliding columns of air to shear water off of the user's hand. The columns of air are spaced and calibrated in such a way as to reduce forces on the user's hand which would otherwise move the hand toward the side surfaces.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 18, 2011Publication date: October 18, 2012Inventors: Michelle L.
