  • Publication number: 20140148741
Abstract: Systems and methods described may include a garment configured to apply compressive force to the body of the wearer during wear and may receive, retain, and release a garment treatment to the wearer during wear. Garment treatments may be configured to create physiological response in the wearer through contact with the wearer's skin. A method described may include reducing the circumference of a body part during a time period, treating a cosmetocompression garment configured to cover at least a part of the body part with a slimming or other health treatment, putting on the treated cosmetocompression garment to cover at least a part of the body part, and wearing the treated cosmetocompression garment according to a schedule. A water soluble laundry packet or a dry sheet may be configured to deliver any combination of a detergent, fabric softener, antistatic substance and garment treatment during wash or drying cycle of laundry.

  • Publication number: 20140078854
Abstract: A storage system is provided. The system may include a tray having at least one recess in which at least one syringe is disposed, the syringe including a barrel with first and second barrel ends, and a stopper fixedly disposed between the first and second barrel ends. A tool attached to the stopper through the second barrel end, the tool having a first end attached to the stopper and a second end attached to or abutting the barrel or a surface of the recess, the first end being selectively adjustable relative to the second end to vary the distance between the first and second ends of the tool. In addition or in the alternative to the tool, the system may include a motion generator attached externally to the syringe, the motion generator being one of at least a vibration generator and a rotating frame.

  • Publication number: 20050104239
Abstract: A method and mold assembly to control the polymerization of a molded article. In one embodiment, an amorphous posterior mold comprising a non-critical surface having a controlled radius of curvature is used to produce molded articles. In an alternate embodiment, ophthalmic lenses are produced using a posterior mold in which the concave surface of the non-critical surface is filled with a liquid having a similar refractive index as the mold material. In still another embodiment, a positive lens is placed at a predetermined distance adjacent to the mold assembly to alter the irradiation path to the mold assembly. In still another embodiment, a positive lens is placed within the concave surface of the posterior lens.
