  • Publication number: 20240298960
Abstract: In some embodiments, a method of determining a personalized skincare recommendation is provided. A computing system receives data depicting a face of a subject. The computing system determines features based on the data depicting the face of the subject. The computing system provides the features to an ageotype classifier to generate a predicted skin ageotype for the subject. The computing system generates the personalized skincare recommendation based on at least the predicted skin ageotype.

  • Publication number: 20240221935
Abstract: In some embodiments, techniques for improving treatment outcomes are provided. A computing system measures at least one skin condition for a subject. The computing system receives a plurality of types of omics data for the subject. For each type of omics data, the computing system uses at least one classifier associated with the type of omics data to determine whether the subject is in at least one responder category. The computing system predicts treatment outcomes for the at least one skin condition for the subject for a plurality treatments based on the at least one responder category. The computing system determines a skincare regimen based on the predicted treatment outcomes.

  • Patent number: 10463603
Abstract: The present invention relates to the cosmetic use of dedifferentiated plant cells of a plant of the Rosa sp. genus, or of an extract or a lyophilizate of said cells, as an active agent for caring for aged skin or aged hair. It also relates to rose dedifferentiated cells, in particular Lancôme rose dedifferentiated cells.

  • Patent number: 9658212
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for evaluating in vitro at least one active agent capable of preserving the functionality of epithelial stem cells, in particular of maintaining or stimulating the growth and/or the density and/or the renewal of a keratin material, consisting in determining the ability of the active agent(s) to mimic a hypoxic state in the keratin material, the active agent(s) being capable of increasing the expression of at least carbonic anhydrase IX as biological marker of hypoxia, in the keratin material treated with the active agent(s) compared with the keratin material not treated with the active agent(s). It also relates to the use of such a process.
