Patent number: 11709813Abstract: A system and method for automatic generation of a data tree structure are disclosed. A database stores contract metadata associated with a plurality of contracts. The metadata includes relationship information data regarding parentage and/or child relationship between a particular contract and other contracts among the plurality of contracts. A processor operatively connects to the database via a communication network and accesses the database via the communication network to retrieve the contract metadata including the relationship information data. The processor also implements a search engine; stores the retrieved contract metadata including the relationship information data onto the search engine for creating a linkage between data points; and automatically generates, based on the created linkage between the data points, both an application programming interface (API) and a data tree structure that displays inter-dependency between two or more sets of contracts among the plurality of contracts.Type: GrantFiled: June 10, 2021Date of Patent: July 25, 2023Assignee: JPMORGAN CHASE BANK, N.A.Inventors: Ilya Slavin, Michelle Roberts, Ian Bone, Fernando Nitz

Publication number: 20210398232Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention is directed to providing market data contract analytics. The innovative system and method are directed to market data contract analytic tools that provide the ability to visualize rights an entity has licensed from various providers or sources. The market data contract analytics tools may further provide searching capabilities (e.g., full text searching, etc.), visualization of agreements the entity has signed or entered into (e.g., linkage, terms, etc.), and performing analytics on various aspects of the agreements including associated text and metadata. An embodiment of the present invention permits entities that license information to merge workflows that exist in contract negotiation, new product research, rights enforcement, tracking impact of contract changes, responses to third party audits and/or other factors and considerations.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 17, 2020Publication date: December 23, 2021Inventors: Ilya Slavin, Michelle ROBERTS, Ian BONE, Wilson De Sousa FERREIRA

Patent number: 9670363Abstract: The invention discloses new substituted anthraquinone dyes that may be useful as cellular stains. In some aspect of the invention, the nuclear stains are useful for staining the nuclei of dead or fixed cells. Another aspect of the invention relates to substituted anthraquinone dyes comprising an enzyme substrate moiety that is transformable or cleavable by an enzyme such that the transformation or cleavage of the substrate moiety causes a detectable change in the functionality or spectral properties of the dye.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 2014Date of Patent: June 6, 2017Assignee: Biotium, Inc.Inventors: Fei Mao, Wai-Yee Leung, Ching-Ying Cheung, Lori Michelle Roberts

Publication number: 20110220138Abstract: An apparatus and system are disclosed for a fingernail cleaning device. The apparatus includes a base to attach to an opening of a container, and a tube extending from inside the container through the base. The tube defines a first and a second liquid pathway. The apparatus also includes a fingernail brush coupled with the base. The fingernail brush is formed of bristles having a base end coupled to the base and a tip end distal to the base end. The first and second liquid pathways are selected in response to the position of the fingernail brush relative to the tube. The first pathway dispenses liquid at the base end of bristles and the second pathway dispenses liquid at the tip end of the bristles. The system includes the apparatus, and a flip top for enclosing the fingernail brush.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 9, 2011Publication date: September 15, 2011Inventors: Michelle A. Roberts, Adam A. Publication number: 20060134893Abstract: Growth of multilayer films is carried out in a manner which allows close control of the strain in the grown layers and complete release of the grown films to allow mounting of the released multilayer structures on selected substrates. A layer of material, such as silicon-germanium, is grown onto a template layer, such as silicon, of a substrate having a sacrificial layer on which the template layer is formed. The grown layer has a lattice mismatch with the template layer so that it is strained as deposited. A top layer of crystalline material, such as silicon, is grown on the alloy layer to form a multilayer structure with the grown layer and the template layer. The sacrificial layer is preferentially etched away to release the multilayer structure from the sacrificial layer, relaxing the grown layer and straining the crystalline layers interfaced with it.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 16, 2004Publication date: June 22, 2006Inventors: Donald Savage, Michelle Roberts, Max Lagally
