  • Patent number: 8838150
Abstract: An information management system includes a mobile telephone and a server device. The mobile telephone includes: an image sensing section; an operation control section for controlling an operation of the image sensing section on the basis of an operation control signal (operation disabling signal; disablement canceling signal) received from the server device; and a questionnaire information transmitting/receiving section for transmitting information about a user of the mobile telephone to the server device. The operation control section, upon receipt of the operation disabling signal, disables the operation of the image sensing section. The server device includes: an operation control signal transmitting section for transmitting the operation disabling signal; and a work information transmitting section for, upon receipt of the user information from the mobile telephone, transmitting, to the mobile telephone, work information inputted by the image sensing section.

  • Patent number: 8642711
Abstract: Provided is a low-cost, highly active, environmentally friendly living radical polymerization method which does not require a radical initiator. Even if a catalyst is not used, a living radical polymerization method can be conducted by controlling the amount of the oxygen in the gaseous phase in the reaction vessel within a suitable range. A monomer having a radical-reactive unsaturated bond can be subjected to a radical polymerization reaction to obtain a polymer having narrow molecular weight distribution. The cost of the living radical polymerization can be remarkably reduced. The present invention eliminates the disadvantages of the conventional catalysts such as toxicity, low solubility, coloring/odor and the like, and is significantly more environmentally friendly and economically efficient than conventional living radical polymerization methods.

  • Publication number: 20130155030
Abstract: A display system displays objects in a display region in a manner arranged in a predetermined orientation. One light-emitting element of a sensor array emits light to the objects in the predetermined orientation. The display system prestores data which associates numerical value ranges different from each other with the objects, respectively. When light reflected by a finger is received by light-receiving elements of the sensor array, the display system calculates the number of the light-receiving elements that have received the reflected light, identifies one object associated with the numerical value range including the calculated number of the light-receiving elements, from among the objects, based on the calculated number of the light-receiving elements and the stored data, and performs processing corresponding to the identified object.
