Patent number: 10086937Abstract: A observation device includes an aircraft and an observation unit attached to the aircraft that observes a target within a predetermined view angle. The aircraft includes a base, at least two thrusters that generate a propulsion force including lift, actuators that change a direction of the propulsion force generated by the thrusters with respect to the base, an inertial measurement unit (IMU) that detects an orientation of the base with respect to a ground surface, and a controller that controls the thrusters and the actuators based on the orientation of the base detected by the IMU. The observation unit is fixedly attached to the base and the aircraft is configured to fly in any arbitrary orientation with respect to the ground surface through a combination of a magnitude of the propulsion force and the direction of the propulsion force of each of the thrusters.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2015Date of Patent: October 2, 2018Assignees: DENSO CORPORATION, SOKEN, INC., THE UNIVERSITY OF TOKYOInventors: Takenori Matsue, Koji Kawasaki, Michihiro Matsuura, Masami Kurosaka, Masayuki Inaba

Patent number: 10065667Abstract: Driving wheels and non-driving wheels are installed to a lower portion of a case body. The driving wheels are driven by drive devices, respectively. A control device controls a drive operation of the drive devices. An angle sensing device senses a tilt angle of the case body about a rotational axis of the driving wheels. In a case where the tilt angle of the case body, which is sensed with the angle sensing device, is equal to or larger than a predetermined tilt angle in a state where the driving wheels contact a ground while the non-driving wheels are lifted away from the ground, the control device controls the drive devices in such a manner that the case body is held in a self-standing state with the driving wheels while keeping the non-driving wheel away from the ground.Type: GrantFiled: July 26, 2016Date of Patent: September 4, 2018Assignee: SOKEN, INC.Inventors: Takenori Matsue, Koji Kawasaki, Michihiro Matsuura, Masami Kurosaka, Naoya Katoh

Patent number: 8190324Abstract: A portable information terminal stores first function list information indicating the contents of functions installed on a first vehicle. When a user carrying the terminal gets in a second vehicle before driving, the second vehicle acquires the first function list information from the terminal. The second vehicle compares the acquired first function list information with second function list information indicating the contents of functions installed on the second vehicle. The second vehicle acquires a functional difference between itself and the first vehicle and notifies the user of the difference.Type: GrantFiled: May 18, 2007Date of Patent: May 29, 2012Assignees: Denso Corporation, Nippon Soken, Inc.Inventors: Toshihiro Hattori, Shougo Kameyama, Hideyuki Morita, Hirotane Ikeda, Michihiro Matsuura, Minoru Terada, Mitsuyasu Matsuura

Patent number: 8090496Abstract: A vehicle information notification device for notifying vehicle information to a driver of a vehicle with a notification element, the device includes: a first-ride determination element for determining whether it is a first ride of the vehicle for the driver; and a controller for notifying the vehicle information via the notification element when the first-ride determination element determines that it is the first ride. By using the above device, the vehicle information is notified to the driver when the driver rides on the vehicle for the first time. Thus, anxiety of the driver is reduced.Type: GrantFiled: July 29, 2008Date of Patent: January 3, 2012Assignees: Nippon Soken, Inc., DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Mitsuyasu Matsuura, Michihiro Matsuura, Minoru Terada, Toshihiro Hattori

Patent number: 6876127Abstract: In an ultrasonic transceiver, an inner housing has a bottom portion, a first tubular side wall extending from one end surface of the bottom portion and a first flange portion formed on an outer peripheral portion of the first tubular side wall. The bottom portion and first tubular side wall provide a tubular cavity formed therebetween, and the piezoelectric member is mounted on the one end surface of the bottom portion in the tubular cavity. An outer housing has a second tubular side wall coaxially arranged around the outer peripheral portion of the first tubular side wall with a predetermined gap therebetween. The second tubular side wall is provided with one end portion which is opposite to one end surface of the first flange portion and contacted thereto. A first absorption member is inserted in the gap between the first tubular side wall and the second tubular side wall.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 2002Date of Patent: April 5, 2005Assignees: Denso Corporation, Nippon Soken, IncInventors: Hideo Mitsuoka, Hiroyuki Kani, Yoshihisa Sato, Masakazu Takeichi, Kiyonari Oda, Hisanaga Matsuoka, Michihiro Matsuura
