  • Publication number: 20230028087
Abstract: A control apparatus includes a control unit that adjusts at least one of a color and luminance of a projection image for each group of the plurality of projection apparatuses based on information on the group and a captured image obtained by imaging projection images of the plurality of projection apparatuses using the pickup apparatus. The control unit acquires each of positions of a plurality of projection areas of the plurality of projection apparatuses based on the captured image, and generates, as the information on the group, information indicating that two projection apparatuses corresponding to a first projection area and a second projection area belong to the same group in a case where a distance between the first projection area and the second projection area among the plurality of projection areas is smaller than a predetermined threshold.

  • Patent number: 10148924
Abstract: Each projection apparatus in a multi-projection system has a liquid crystal panel, a driving circuit configured to perform PWM control of the liquid crystal panel, and a projection image processing unit configured to perform edge blending processing to perform compositing display by each projection apparatus and processing to change gain properties of the edge blending processing by each projection apparatus. Synchronization of each projection apparatus is maintained by a synchronization circuit. Therefore, a sum of image gain in a region of image compositing by each projection apparatus is 1, and the position and image gain properties of the compositing region are changed for each frame, so the position of image deterioration changes for each frame.

  • Patent number: 9489881
Abstract: The apparatus calculates a first relation representing a relation of mapping from an image capturing coordinate system of a camera to a shading correction coordinate system of a display apparatus, by using a first captured image acquired by capturing a first display image, and calculates a second relation by removing, from the first relation, a part corresponding to an object located between the first display image and the camera. The apparatus calculates a first gradation value in the shading correction coordinate system by performing a mapping transformation using the second relation on a second captured image acquired by capturing a second display image, calculates from the first gradation value a first correction value for the shading correction coordinate system, and calculates through an interpolation using the first correction value a second correction value for a part thereof where the first gradation value is not calculated.

  • Publication number: 20160247461
Abstract: The liquid crystal drive apparatus drives a liquid crystal display element. The apparatus includes a tone setter to set a tone value for each pixel of the liquid crystal display element on a basis of an input image signal, and a disclination determiner to determine, by using the tone value for a specific pixel of the liquid crystal display element set on the basis of the input image signal, whether disclination is generated in the specific pixel. When a determination that the disclination is generated is made, the tone setter periodically changes the tone value for the specific pixel, by using a tone value for a peripheral pixel located in a periphery of the specific pixel and the tone value set on the basis of the input image signal.
