Abstract: This invention is directed to a method for cleaning a humor replacing circuit, in its entirety, by simply switching valves of joints connected to end portions of ducts which interconnect medical instruments (such as, a membrane type plasma separator, a selective plasma component absorber or a membrane filter); a joint which can be readily replaced and connected to the medical instruments; and a medical instrument container. The method for cleaning, the joint, and the medical instrument container are used in medical treatment (such as, dialysis or plasma replacing therapy).
