Abstract: A vehicle repair cost estimating system for estimating a vehicle repair cost by inputting the image of a vehicle to be estimated for repair cost, to the computer. The system comprises a display unit, input means for inputting data and instructions according to the displayed contents of the display unit to the computer, designation display means for displaying in the display unit an instruction for prompting any of methods to input the image of the vehicle to the computer, and input operation screen display means for displaying an input operation screen according to the designated method in the display unit.

Abstract: To provide a method for converting data between different locales in an easy manner so that an operator can effectively examine a displayed document which has been generated at a different locale. A converting method for converting document data includes steps of identifying locale information of an original document (S4), identifying item information of the original document (S5), identifying locale information of an objective document (S2), determining a converting process based on the locale information of the original document and the locale information of the objective document (S5), and converting data contents of item information in the converting process (S6).
