  • Patent number: 9816829
Abstract: An in-vehicle navigation apparatus that provides guidance to a lane on which a user's vehicle should travel, among driving lanes on a route, includes a landmark information acquiring unit and a lane guide unit. The landmark information acquiring unit acquires landmark information representing an object which serves as a landmark existing along the route within a landmark acquisition range that is set between a certain point on a near side of a specific point and the specific point. The lane on which the user's vehicle should travel on the route is restricted at the specific point. The lane guide unit provides guidance to the lane on which the user's vehicle should travel in association with the object represented by the landmark information acquired by the landmark information acquiring unit.

  • Publication number: 20120050504
Abstract: A digital television receiving apparatus eliminates user discomfort when a 3D vision program is displayed on a display that does not support a 3D vision program. The receiving apparatus includes a 3D vision program determination unit which determines if the broadcast program is displayable as a 3D image using a left view image and a right view image. A display control unit is configured to cause the left view image or the right view image of the broadcast program to be undisplayable when it is determined that the broadcast program is a 3D vision program.

  • Patent number: 8086404
Abstract: The present invention provides an on-vehicle navigation system in which a user can perform predetermined driving using a special lane such as a carpool lane appropriately and without anxiety where advancing from a normal lane in a predetermined advancing authorized section and exiting to the normal lane in a predetermined exiting authorized section are authorized. The system includes a remaining number notifying section for notifying the user of the remaining number of at least one of an exiting authorized section for exiting from a special lane to the normal lane and an advancing authorized section for advancing to the special lane from a normal lane, between a vehicle position detected by a vehicle position calculation section and an interchange point or an exit of a plural-lane road including the special lane and the normal lane which exists on a recommended route, in performing route guidance of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6983052
Abstract: A voltage supply for a vehicle power amplifier having an audio property compensation function. The voltage supply includes means for setting the voltage supply to a first mode when its power is turned on, means for setting the voltage supply to a second mode when its power is tuned on after setting on/off operation of compensation functions and associated adjustment values in the first mode and turning the power off, and a memory for storing information that determines either the first mode or the second mode when the device power is turned on. The first mode is to supply voltage only to a unit for setting the compensation functions and values, and the second mode is to supply power to the entire vehicle power amplifier.
